So I just bought my starter pack @ Walgreens and I am excited to get started.....BUT I am a bit nervous about "treatment effects". Is anyone else feeling that way? I guess Im also a bit nervous that mabye this medication is not good for you, afterall  it is just comming out. Just wanting to know if anyone else thought about this.

YES! I bought it Thursday morning and was scared to start but have taken it now for 2 days with no "problems." I think it has just made me a little more cautious of what I have eaten. I am a little worried about taking my husband out for Fathers day tomorrow to a Brazillian restaurant but will make sure I take the pill and don't overeat. If you haven't already started wait until Saturday when you are at home and you will see how your body reacts.

I bought the starter pak yesterday and decided to start this morning.  After reading some of the post on the board I'm a little more nervous.  I'm sure it will be fine, I just need to watch what I eat!

1st day and counting.......

I could hardly sleep I was so excited about getting to the store and purchasing my starter pack before they sold out. I actually expected a crowd! Not so strangely enough, I was the first to buy the OTC Alli product from my neighborhood Walgreens. That being said, I have yet to begin taking the tablets. Why? I guess after reading over all of the materials, I found myself getting more and more nervous about the public consequences of making a mistake. So.. Nansueflan, tell me, how did it go for you?

I was really nervous about treatment effects too, but today is my second day on the pills and so far have had no problems or side effects, we'll see what happens. I think if you stay within the 15g of fat a meal you're allowed you are pretty safe.

Im buying the starter pack tomorrow and I'm very nervous too.  Im not starting it till Monday though.  Im currently not working so I think I'll be ok with the treatment effects bc im home most of the day.  However, I do have a job interview on Tuesday and I definitely dont want any embarrassing moments!
