    Vegetables

I hate vegetables!!!  Corn is the only one I like.  Every diet plan I have been on tells me to force myself to eat them.  I have tried this but they literally make me nauseas.  Any suggestions???

    Re: Vegetables

How about trying them as JUICES: tomato juice, carrot juice, etc. If you think you can do this then get a juicer and do blends -- and you can add some fruit to them if you like.  In addition, if you think this is a possibility you'll need to add some fiber to your diet. Most likely you'll need a supplement, like Metamucil, or a very high Fiber Cereal like Fiber One.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you.  I have actually started drinking V-8 V Fusion.  Great stuff.

    Re: Vegetables

    Hi Pat,

I used to love eating veggies until recently.  About a week ago there was a worm in my frozen vegetable dinner and have had a hard time eating any veggies since then.  You suggested drinking them, and I purchased a 12oz bottle of V8 this morning, it has 70 cal and no fat, but has 720 mg of sodium, and I haven't drank it yet, because I'm afraid I will go into sodium overload.  Well I plan my meals out in advance and my sodium intake is already quite high, how can I incorporate this juice into my plan if I'm already over my daily sodium intake?  Below you will find my nutrional Info for the last 7 days. Please disregard the 1st 2 lines as I don't know what or where they came from.

I've been on the program since 6/23, starting weight 178, goal weight 145, current weight 171, I'm 41 and excercise 6 days a week with 3 days of ST.  I've lost 7 lbs total, but for the last 2 weeks I've been stuck at 171 and the program suggest I lower my cal/fat intake.  I was on 1600/17, but have gone down to 1400/15, so therefore you can see the changes in the log that show where the change started.  With the sodium being so high, I don't want this to add to my weight loss issue of not losing.  As you can see, I drink plenty of water and get lots of exercise, I tend to meet my daily lf/lc goals, but the lbs don't seem to be coming off, but I have noticed the inches are coming off because my clothes fit much better as I also feel better.

Please advise on how I can get the veggies in without going into sodium overload and not going over my cal intake to much?

    Thanks in advance.
