Re: Anyone with an "Effect" yet?

I ahree with you! I had the same "effects" and ruined my favorite skirt. I wasnt expecting it at all. Usually product list the side effect and I disregard them because I know the chances are slim. But not in this case. I dont think Alli is right for me and I wont be taking them any longer. I will need to rely on pure will.

Re: Anyone with an "Effect" yet?

I haven't had any of the "alli oops" effects - I think the thought of them is what is helping me stay under the 15g pf fat per meal.  So even if this doesn't work, at least it's given me a motivation to eat healthier!

The only side effect I seem to be having is that my face and hair seem oilier.  It may be the change in diet and not the pills - but that's a better effect than the alternative!

Yes, big time - started on Saturday - was very good but, did have some wings and fries on Friday.  Sunday was a nightmare, major "leakage" had to wear a pad , BMs were ok except for the orange oil.  Follow the instructions to start the diet a few days ahead of time.  I didn't and paid the price.   I'm just glad I was home.

Nothing nasty since then,  I have been really watching the past few days.  :)

Yeah, I had the effect. God, I could have died. I had a bagel with cream cheese and chocolate milk for breakfast. Perhaps there wasn't enough fat in it?

     Sportsone:

What do you mean "not enough fat"?! If that was regular cream cheese it was loaded with fat, which caused your effects. Not to mention the chocolate milk!

Me O My.... I have been on Alli since the 18th and I am fine till as long as I don't have to much fat. I have had a few treatments and a couple accidents and one while out in the store. Most all my meals are low fat but some you can not tell the amount of fat that is present. An example is I went out to Olive Garden and had a crab cake and plain bread stick and it wasn't long after I had a treament. Another was salad and alot of fiber and no fat was enough for me to have a treatment. The good thing taken Alli does make you more aware what not to eat. I plan to keep taken it long enough to find if this is right for me. I am combining weight watcher's and meetings to learn healthier choices.

Those treatments can be scary stuff if you go shopping. To think I had a salad fat free and ff dressing and still had a treatment. Down 1.4 since I have been on it. I think after a month to two will I will know if it is right for me.***********Can't believe those treatment*********

    I

I've been on Alli since Sunday.  I don't take the pill in the morning unless I have eggs and candian bacon because I usually eat whole wheat puff cereal and skim milk or a vanilla smoothie (from Weight Watchers )and they all have maybe 1g of fat.  Anyway last night I had 2slices of pizza and have used the bathroom 3 times already today and 1 of which was oily. So I guess now I know, no fatty foods.  This pill does work.  I'll see on Thursday if I lost anything.

Re: Anyone with an "Effect" yet?

No effects at all and this is day 4. I'm having a hard time being able to go to the bathroom, I think I might be having too little fat...? 10 grams per meal is my usual, I never go higher. I think the side effects are a myth right now, unless the pill is a placebo, because I have had NO side effects at all. The only thing I feel is *much* more tired than usual, and I feel like I could throw up instead of the usual effect everyone xpects. This pill is a breeze if you follow directions well.

Re: Anyone with an "Effect" yet?

I had my first treatment effect last night, nothing major, just when I wiped and this morning there was some grease in the stool. I cheated Monday night with 2 slices of pizza. I'm amazed it took so long to work it's way through. I kind of expected it right away not 24 hours later! Anyway, I've been on Alli since thursday and had no effects until now. Been very faithful other then Monday night. It is defintely not a placebo!
