    Is this to much ??? HELP

    Ok here we go , I woke up this morning Ravenous! ..lol My daily calorie intake is 1800 with approx 19 fat grams per meal

     This morning this is what I had along with my alli pill ( normally i just have oatmeal and rasins  or shredded wheat)

    2 low fat Nutrigrain waffles ( serving size is 2 ) 140 Cal. 2.5 Fat

    1/4 c light syrup ( serving 1/4 cup ) 100 cal 0 Fat

    3/4 cup Frozen bluberries (serviing size 3/4 cup) 70 Cal 0 Fat

    1/2 Banana 105 Cal, 0.4 Fat

    1 Cup of instant coffee with 2 tsps sugar 37 CAl .01 Fat

    I freaked out when I saw that it added up to 447 Cal ! but only 3 Grams fat total

    Is that to much for one meal ??? I am feeling guilty but I was so hungry.

    Eating a healthy hearty breakfast ignites your metabolism, which is key to losing weight.  Therefore, you did the right thing by eating a healthy breakfast even if it resulted in a few more calories than usual. You may move your calories and fat grams around your meals, as long as you don't exceed your 18 grams of fat per meal.

    I am new at this but you are asking me to go on a 1800 calorie meal and no more than 19 gms of fat per meal..now I can see the low fat count but I can not eat 1800 calories.  I have kept a total of food calories for 2 days now and this is what I come up with:  Wed was 429 calories and Thurs was 877 calories....now can I follow the 1200 calorie schedule?  Please advize me on this subject...Thx

     Where did you get the caloric value on the half banana? according to two sources I use the calories are much less than 105, including here.

    You're starving yourself and your body is hoarding calories. You need a certain amount of calories to operate properly, and this is way below it, especially with exercising added on. While you don't have to come up to 1800 calories for every meal, you should be a lot closer ... within a few hundred calories most days. Otherwise your body will go into a panic and hang onto every ounce of fat you have because it thinks you are starving.
