    Coffee Drinkers

I love my coffee and unfortunately, I love it sweet and creamy.  I usually have 2 mugs full a day and while I use Splenda in it, or fat free creamer, the creamer still has 25 calories/tablespoon.  I probably pour 1/4 cup of creamer in, so thats way too many calories.

If I have to give up my coffee I will.  I like it creamy!  Any lower calorie suggestions for keeping it creamy?

There is always half and half. Or even if you can live without it being so creamy, you can use skim milk. It's not as creamy, but it's still not black. I work at a Dunkin Donuts and since I've started, have become addicted to lattes, so I know how you feel.

    Re: Coffee Drinkers

I love a large iced Tea! I went to McDonalds today(I ate before I went) w/ my kids and ordered a large iced tea. It can be sweatened w/Spenda and gives you a little kick. Starbucks has great iced tea too! I cut down to 1 cup of coffee in the AM w/ my fat free 1/4 cup sweatener and just count it as part of breakfast, along w/ fat free yogurt and oatmeal, cereal, or a granola bar. Hope this helps, as I love my sweat creamy coffee too! Sometimes I have a nonfat Latte for a treat in the AM if it's going to be one of those days. Take care!

I work at Starbucks and this is what I do.  I prefer iced coffee, and I have it sweetened with white mocha (WM) The wm makes it both sweet and creamy.  Each pump of wm is 25 calories and .5 grams of fat.  If you like hot you can get it in a regular coffee or an americano.

The liquid coffee mate comes in a fat free version that's pretty good. I usually mix it with the regular. I can't give up coffee! :)
