A Question 4 anyone on Applebees menu

Ok, tonight my husband and i are going out to dinner. I have not had ANY take out meals since i started this a month ago. I figured since Applebees has the weight watchers meals so i would give it a try. Question.......does anyone know if they cook their grilled chicken type stuff is cooked in any type of oil? I have now lowered my fat intake to no more than 8 or 9 grams of fat and have been doing great. They have lots to choose from, but i'm just worried about the oil.

I did the grilled fish at Applebees and it was great.  No TE's.  I had the boiled potatoes instead of rice and the fresh vegys.   nancy

    Re: A Question 4 anyone

The list of restaurants is found at dietfacts.com   Hope this helps, it lists 33 of the Applebee's items, or 207 under the Chili's items, which are almost identical.  Good luck!  Tampabayb

    Re: A Question 4 anyone

I had the grilled chicken on ,brocoli and potatos on the weight watchers section of the menu at Applebee's and no TE's what-so-ever. So be sure to stick to that section of the menu. Also do not be afraid to ask you waiter or waitress how it is prepared. Or tell them how you want it prepared. Good-luck ! Amanda

    Re: A Question 4 anyone

Most of the time you can go on the websites of a particular restaurant and find out what is good for you before you go.  I'm not sure if Applebee's has this though.

    Hi Everyone,

The first place to check for calorie information would be the restaurants website. After that, you can go to www.calorieking.com to look the restaurant up or one that has a similar menu. You can't always be sure how the food is prepared so you need to be careful and ask the waiter for more details.

    Good luck,
