Subway's Sweet Onion sauce is fat free and can be used as a salad dressing.

    Re: fat free salad dressing?

I too love ranch...but HATE fat free ranch. So in my efforts to taste a normal ranch dressing (or closer to it then then other stuff) I came up with this recipe. Lets face it nothing is as good as the high fat stuff, but this is pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

1 container fat free sour cream

1 package ranch dip (the dry stuff)

    Skim milk to desired thickness

I mix the sour cream and ranch packet together as a dip, and then when I want dressing I just add some skim milk until its the consistancy that I like. I suppose if you like plain fat free yogurt you could use that as well. I not only put this on salads, but baked potatoes as well. YUMMY!

I am also a "Ranch" girl and do not like the FF version, so I just don't eat salad very often.  I haven't tried any of these but here is a link for fat-free dressing recipes if you want to try to make any yourself:

    Thanks for the great link.

I love the Newman's Own Low Fat Sesme Ginger.

I use it on more than just salads.  It is great on pasta and rice and makes a great finishing sauce for fish or chicken.
