Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

    Hi frepetowski,

I'm glad you're making progress on the alli plan.  Right now, alli is only sold in the U.S. As others state, right now, alternative methods are the only way for those outside of the U.S. to purchase alli.

I hope you keep up the great work.  Let us know if you have any exercise-related questions as well.

    Good Luck,

    Paul

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

    Hi catsanni,

Refills can be found at major drug, grocery, and discount/warehouse stores in the weight loss product aisle, or online.  Regarding your inability to access certain parts of the site, you should give a call into the technical support line at 1-877-4myalli.  It is open M-F.

    Good Luck,

    Paul

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

I've seen refill packs at WalMart.  That's where I plan to buy it the next time I need it.  When I bought my starter pack they had one starter pack of 60 and all the rest of the types were sold out.

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

WalMart is selling the 60 tablet starter packs on the shelf.  For the 90 starter pack and the 120 refill you have to ask at the counter.  I got the refill today and the person said I didn't look like I needed the pills because I look good.  Truth is - it's those few last stubborn pounds that won't come off no matter what.  I'm close to my goal, but not quite there yet and can always use a little extra help.  :)

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

    Hi size8jeans,

Good for you!  That compliment must have made you feel great.  When you have a few last stubborn pounds to lose, it's usually a matter of getting your body into another gear to jump-start the weight loss.

Upping your exercise routine is a great way to do this.  When we are dieting and exercising for a while, the body hits plataeus, and the way to overcome them is to challenge your body.  In addition to sticking with your diet and taking the pills as recommended, try a new exercise, or increase on the following factors: terrain, speed, intensity or duration. If you can, you want to perform BOTH cardio and weight training, because you want to build lean muscle mass (which is more metabolically active than fat and will burn calories and fat even at rest) and shed extra calories and fat.

Keep up the hard work and those extra few pounds will not be an issue - just stick with it.

    Good Luck,

    Paul

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

I work out 6 days a week as it is.  3 days a week for the gym for 90 minutes - 1 hour of weight training followed by 30 minutes of cardio.  2 days a week I walk to work from the train station - 30 minutes.  And one day a week my friend and I go walking.  We cover 4-6 miles and are out for 1 1/2-2 hours.  Gym days are my favorite, especially the upper body days.  I've fallen in love with weight training and read every issue of "Muscle & Fitness Hers," a muscle mag geared toward women.

The weight training is why my trainer wants me eating more calories than NutriSystem recommends and a lot more protein than NS says I should eat.  He now had me doing "pyramids," a standard muscle building routine.  I'm also an endomorph and have a very hard time building muscle.  It's possible for me to do, but I have to work much harder for just half the results.

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

    Hi Size8Jeans,

You have a good exercise plan going, keep it up.  The fact that you are working with a trainer will help, and he/she can advise on the best exercises to make sure those last few pounds come off.

Keep up the great work and let us all know how you're doing. If you do have any fitness questions, post them to our fitness board as well.

    Good Luck,

    Paul

Re: Where do I buy Alli refills?

Hi, I found out why its hard to find the refills!!!!

Apparently, the refill box is easy to break into as opposed to the starter box with the hard plastic shield. So, stores have been keeping the refill boxes (just ordinary boxes) in the back, so you would have to ask for them.

I just came from Harmons Beauty store and saw only the starter kit, I asked one of the clerks why they only had the starter kit, and the manager informed me that most stores are keeping them behind the counter because they are constantly being stolen.

So just ask one of the store clerks to get the refill box for you. Also, Drugstore.com is really good option also.

    Smiles...
