Uh oh, the family and I are about ready to go to the county fair this evening...  I told the hubby a long time ago I wouldn't be going to the fair this year because what is there at the fair to do other than eat corn dogs, turkey legs, FRIED VEGETABLES!!!!!  fried cheese, and who doesn't want to try fried pickles???  Oh and there's cotton candy, elephant ears, funnel cakes, sheesh - even fried candy bars!!!!   Seriously, I am not feeling good about this... I know I will be tempted but I am soooo not going to eat anything there! 

OOOOoohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  french fries and vinegar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hmmmm they may have to tie my hands down next month when ours come around :)  hahaha

 I'm going to our fair next weekend. Funnel cakes ... :-O I think I am going to eat as big (and low cal/fat) a meal I can before we go out, so hopefully I won't be as tempted. Good luck!

WOW...and I just thought going home to my mom's would cause me to crack!  I have been using my will power when it came to chips and french fries but FAIR FOOD...OMG....I would just have to skip!

 Our fair is coming and I know I am going to see a musical act there.  I am scared to eat there, so I think I will eat before I go.  Good luck to all with this temptation before them.  I know I am going to need it.

my thought would be to only bring enough money with you that you could buy say one thing, like the elphant ear and share it with someone, if you don't have any extra money with you you can't buy anything else, and freeze a water bottle part of the way and fill it the rest of the way with water, that way you won't have the excuse that you need money so you can buy a drink. it's not a bad thing to have A special treat once in a while, since the fair only comes around once a yr., just remember to share that one treat!  good luck!
