    Re: great results

Congrats!!!!!  I'm glad it's working for some people!  I myself have been on it for 2 wkks and not one lb lost.  Just extremely constipated and bloated.  I hope you can continue to lose pounds!  Wish it worked for me!  You're lucky!

    Re: great results

Tracy1275 I have been on the pills for almost a week and the first day I read on here some were having trouble with constipation and someone wrote to take a fiber supplement like Fiber Choice she takes 2 wafers a day and doesn't have any trouble, so I decided that day since some were having that kind of trouble that I was going to go ahead and start the Fiber Choice everyday and I haven't been constipated I have had gas which can happen with taking the fiber but I haven't been bloated or constipated, hope this helps!  I have lost 5 pounds so far but know that I probably won't lose that each week. Good Luck! Lisa from Ohio

    Re: great results

Hey Lisa!  Congrats on the 5lbs!!!  I was taking fiber but the moderator told me to stop taking it!  I eat 35 g of fiber a day at least!!  She said that i'm getting to much fiber now but i'm still not having ANY BM's!!!  The fiber didn't hep anyway.  The food goes it but it DOESN'T come out, and no weight loss.  So I think I might be one of the people where the alli just doesn't/won't work for them.

    Re: great results

Hi. Have you been drinking enough water?  I am going to start the pills tomorrow, but in normal life and eating, if I don't drink enough water-not just liquids- i have a very hard time going..

    good luck!

    Re: great results

Tracy, I just started on the Alli diet, but I have been on low fat diets before, and have experienced what you're going through.  I think we need a little fat in our diets to lubricate our insides!  So this may sound weird, but maybe you need to up the amount of fat you're eating a little to get things going.  Also, I've found that I tend to "go" better when I have actually skipped a meal.  I know that it's a taboo thing to do, but if it allows my insides to regulate, then why not. Rinse all that fiber down with water too.  Too much fiber can cause a "log jam"! Best wishes.

    Re: great results

Good job on the weight loss.  So far in the first week i myself have lost 5 lbs.  A year and a half ago my wife and i started the South Beach Diet.  We have each lost a total of 46 lbs, it was going fine until last thanksgiving when I myself started adding a few more spoonfuls of food to my plate thinking, "it's ok, its just this dinner", well you know the rest of the story. I have again got back on the South beach diet and have lost 15 of the 25 i have put back on.  But it was coming off too slow.  So I looked into this program and started this last week. The thing I like about this program is that now I measure/weigh all my food and count fat intake. I eat a healthy snack in between main meals to keep me from getting hungry. ( Cucumber slices, baby tomatoes, celery sticks) My wife is a real help to me and it does help to have someone who is doing a "healthy lifestyle change"with you.  I applaude your success.

I have had no TE's as of yet, but have read about them. One thing I did notice is that I ate a handful of peanuts and felt awful.

    Re: great results

I drink 2 liters of water a day in addition to any other calorie free beverages of my choice.  So it's not from lack of water intake.  Oh well!  At least I tried!
