    Re: AAA's

Hi girls, good to see you both here.  I have a list of to-do's today too, so will keep this short.  I just talked to John.  He was in the middle of doing a QuiGong dvd that I got him last Christmas.  It is relatively stationary so doable while hooked to an IV. He is keeping very busy with this and that and had two visitors yesterday.  He sounded very up.

So, Carol Joy, you are on your own for a couple of weeks.  I used to enjoy it when John took the occasional business trip and I could just do things on my own schedule for a while.  It sounds like you have some fun things planned.  I hope you can relax and enjoy them.  Jon sounds fine and is sure to have a great time.  That trip is a golfer's dream and one we plan to take when John gets well.  I'm LOL about your "trout pout"  and think you should figure out how to get a picure of that on your profile here.  Tee hee!  Don't count out September completely just yet.  Let's see how things go.

Carol, sounds like you are over your food poisoning bout and back to your busy schedule.  I have a hula hoop hint for you.  The bigger the hoop, the easier it is.  They use different sizes at school for kids who are learning.  The big hoops are easy and fun.  The smaller ones are more work but a better workout I'm sure.  The dancing sounds like fun.  I love that kind of stuff.  Another cruise?  Where are you going this time?  I think we've been over this already but our anniversary is also in November.  We will celebrate 23 years on the 23rd.  Kind of cosmic.

OK gals I've got to make some phone calls.  Talk to you soon.

    Hugs,

    D.

    Re: AAA's

    Tuesday, 8:15 am

Good morning girls!!  Just finished breakfast of Special K, blueberries, 1% milk and peanut butter.  Can't believe how stuffed I feel.  Last night I made the Veal Piccata recipe again from the new Alli recipe book.  I almost couldn't find my book, but finally, after looking under a pile of magazines, there it was.  Not a good thing.  It is back on the kitchen counter again, in plain view.   Tonight, I'm going to make the chicken/pineapple lite bite kabobs for dinner, serving over rice and with a fresh vege (TBD).   As for lunch, I am going to make a nice chef salad (no bag lettuce for me!!), with ham & turkey, hard boiled egg (no yolk), FF dressing and some other veges added.

Dana, thanks for the info about the hula hoops, the ones we had on Friday, were cheap-o's from a party store.  The one I have is a lot heavier & larger and maybe I can learn to use it.  I think I was able to hula hoop as a child, but that was sooooo long ago, I can't remember.  LOL

Yes, we are going on another cruise in November.  This one leaves from Tampa, goes to the mid-Caribbean, with 4 days at sea.  We are going to 5 ports, 3 of which, we have never been.  I am really looking forward to it.  BUT, I must reach my goal, or I will be very disappointed in myself.  I've decided to post some flyers/notes around my office & kitchen to remind me to behave myself.  I think I'm going to look for one of my many, many fat pictures and attach it to a picture of the cruise ship, some island pics, and put a caption "Do I want to look like this?".   NO WAY!!  Jon will probably laugh when he sees it, but maybe it will be enough of a stimulus, that I will not fall too far from the plan in the near future.

That is cool that this will be your 23rd anniversary on the 23rd of November!!  Ours is on the 3rd.

Carol Joy, don't go nuts without Jon around!  I don't know what I would do, with my Jon out of town for that long.  Sounds like you have everything planned out nicely.  Did Jon watch the British Open this past weekend? I hope he has better weather for golf than they did!  Looked pretty miserable.

Your "trout pout" made me laugh!  I've never done anything like that, and am not sure I really would want to put myself through that.  I don't like any kind of pain.  LOL  Maybe someday, I'll give it a try, hmmmmm, maybe not.  LOL

Today, I actually am going to see an Accounting client and do some work.  It is the end of the payroll quarter and I have several clients I do their quarterlys for them.  The last few weeks, I have been doing a lot of spring cleaning (summer cleaning, what-ever), and I think Jon is happy that I have some accounting work to do.  I have been driving him nuts moving, rearranging, tossing stuff, etc.  He thinks if he sits in one place too long, I might do something drastic.  LOL  Today, my cleaning lady is coming and I don't have anything to pickup before she gets here.  Has to be a first!!!

Well, I'm off to walk and Curves, then home to shower and go to work.  Talk to you girls later.

    Take care,

    Carol

    Re: AAA's

    Tuesday 2:00pm

Hi gals! Me and my pout are doing real swell! Get it? No seriously, I had a couple dental blocks and could barely feel a thing! Amazingly, my lips look great today! I think she is perfecting her technique as time goes on. I actually could of been out in public today but chose to stay in seclusion! I am however having a sushi dinner out with a friend I haven't seen since May. I am already house-crazy being here just since yesterday afternoon...I get BORED! I am really one that prefers to be out and about daily!

I regret not going to yoga class this morning, but did weights instead. I'll go back on Thursday and saturday morning.

Speaking of Saturday, one of my clients gave me 4 tickets (Pavillion seating at a local outdoor venue) to see The Police and Elvis Costello!! Face Value was $100 each!! I called my ONLY hip friend in AnnArbor and she gathered 2 of her gals and we are going for an evening of music and merriment! Can't wait to have a night out! Going to shop for something cool on Friday evening. Have to wait for the weather forecast first.

Dana, glad to hear John is doing positive energy work for himself. I did Tai Chi for a year and felt very centered after. Do you know any Reiki practioners that could work on him? I am a 2nd level graduate but never got my Masters'. Nice he had some visitors to distract him as well. So I will not count you out for September as of yet! I should make my plans no later than early August unless I want to pay through the nose for a ticket.

Carol, it sounds like you are reved-up to eat well and work-out hard again! Thats' the old Carol I know and love!! I still haven't use the Alli cookbook. I probably won't either as I see little meat-free protein based recipes in there. Maybe you should go buy a new swimsuit in the next size DOWN from where you are at? You could try in on once a week and hang it on your fridge! I use to do that when we went to islands often. It is a big motivator to me!

Well I am off for a manicure and to get gussied-up (there's an old term!) for my dinner out tonight. I have spoken with Jon daily since Sunday. He said the weather is cool, somewhat sunny, and so far no rain. He is breaking 90 which is great for playing on unknown courses. His handicap is a 7, so he's a pretty good golfer. He said portions of food served there are so much smaller than in America, he's going to start ordering more food. He has the metabolism of a Hummingbird, lucky him!

You two take it easy! I'll talk to you tomorrow!

    Re: AAA's

    Wednesday, 8:30 pm

Good evening girls.  I just finished cleaning up the kitchen from dinner and am having a small bowl of rainbow sherbet.  I had a sweet tooth, and the sherbet only has 1 gram of fat and I had some calories to spare.

Went sailing today, not a whole lot of wind, so we only got in 3 races.  I came in 6th, 7th & 3rd our of 10 participants.  Afterwards, we went for a swim to cool off.  Lunch was pasta & noodles (looked great, so I had a small taste), and of course many kinds of salads.  The club always has chips, snacks, peanuts and dip set up for us when we finish sailing and I was soooo hungry, I grabbed a chip, crunched down and it stabbed the roof of my mouth.  I guess that was my punishment for trying to cheat.  After that, I did not want any more.  LOL

So far this week, I've eaten all three meals in range of the plan AND taken my Alli.  I'm hoping I will start losing again, Friday will be my weigh-in day and we will see how I've done this week.  I want to lose about 16-18 pounds by November, so I really have to be good.  Jon & I have 2 trips planned before then, so hopefully, I will be losing by the first one and really feel compelled to stick to the plan.

Carol Joy, I have actually used the term "gussied-up" not that long ago.  Hope your dinner went well.  Sounds like Jon is having a great time, even with the small food portions.  I guess I've never seen a fat Scot, must be why.

Dana, when do you head back to Stanford?  Have you straightened out your boys, escpecially on the care & feeding our the pets?  As for the mail, Jon is bad about that also.  If he comes home first, I always assume he picks it up, but then the next comes and I check it, and there is the extra mail.  Must be a guy thing.  LOL

Tonight, I am heading off to bed and read my book.  I didn't sleep well last night and combined with sailing today, I am really tired.

    Good night girls.

    Re: AAA's

    Thurs. 7/24 Noon

Hi girls! Went to a great yoga class this morning, then to Starbucks and then to the health food store to pick up a case of Indian Lassi (like a Kefir, but not as sour), and finally home! My back is still somewhat sore since Sunday (I over did a backbend) but was able to do class.

I am soon going to get ready to leave for Lansing overnight. I'll see my mom for a couple hours then have dinner out with sis and an evening walk. Tomorrow morning, I am going to teach her some yoga and then we are going to a beautiful park where there are dozens of rose gardens and take a nice long hike. Lunch out will follow and I'll try to get home by 6pm.

Saturday I have yoga class again and then am going to try to get a deep tissue back massage. I have a lead on a masseuse that charges only $45/hr and comes to your home! I've been going to a local spa that is 5 minles from home and pay $90 and hour (+ 20$ tip!) Silly me!

Carol....funny about the potato chip biting you back!! I have REALLY paid attention to food choices and have found that when I am eating something I SHOULDN'T be eating, I either spill it, drop it, or somehow it makes a mess! To me, that is the 'big guy' telling you "this isn't in your higest good!) Start paying attention and see if that isn't true for you as well!

Dana....hoping things are better for you. I did a yoga class last week Thursday, all dedicated to John and his rapid healing. When I became tired or weak, I thought of him, and did it in his name. Hope it helped a little.

Well I better get a move on, I have a 90min drive ahead of me! I'll be back to post either late Friday or mid morning Saturday.

    You both take care!

    Re: AAA's

     Hi Ladies,

I am heading back to Stanford today so I will likely be out of touch for a few days, at least.  John is still feeling pretty good.  You can check the blog for the latest.  Had a talk with my boys but am unconvinced that they can handle things here.  I'm considering alternatives, maybe a mom's helper kind of thing to come in for an hour or two daily.  We'll see.  Thanks for all your concern, once again.  (CJ, I'm sure the yoga helped.)  Keep a good thought.

    Friday, 10:30 am

TGIF!!  Dana, have a safe drive back to Stanford (how far is it?).  Yes, I've been reading John's blogs almost daily now, and I find them quite interesting, still all this is new to me, so I'm learning about his disease as he goes along.  Maybe the "mother's" helper would be a good thing for your boys and especially for the cat!   I'm sure they will be OK.

Carol Joy, glad you had a good yoga class.  Is your back getting any better?  And yes, you should look into the home massage!!

I think you are right about the bad foods attaching.  When I think back, funny things always seem to happen.  I guess it's our conscience working in mysterious ways.  LOL

Today, Jon is off and we are going to get our passport photos done, finally.  We had planned on getting them taken several weeks ago, but excuses prevailed and now our passports have expired (a few days ago.)  We need to get them renewed and back to us by September.  Oh, that's our short 3-day cruise for birthday, to the Bahamas.  We've been told, it only takes about 3 weeks to get them back.  I hope so!!!!

After our photos, we are going to go for a walk downtown, out to the pier and enjoy the day.  Tomorrow night, we play at the Tiki Bar, so we will definately get our outdoor exercise then.  LOL  I told Jon, we need to make sure we drink lots and lots of water, because it will be hot.  Of course he said, beer will do.  MEN!!

I'm off now to get a little practice in and then a shower.  So I'll talk to you girls later.

    Carol

    Re: AAA's

     Monday, 8:30 am

Hi girls.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Dana, I'm assuming you are back up in Stanford with John.  I'm trying to keep up with his blogs, so I know what's happening.  Don't forget to use that gym and relieve some stress!!

Carol Joy, how is your bachelorette time coming along.  I know you have so many things planned and hope you are enjoying every minute of it.  How was your visit with your mom and sister?   Did you get to talk those walks you mentioned?

Yesterday, I didn't do a whole lot of activity.  We did unload the van of the band equipment, and today, I'm going to put away most of it.  Since we didn't get to bed until after 2 am, and then we were up by 8, a nap was necessary yesterday afternoon.  Saturday, we had a nice late lunch/early dinner of pasta.  We wanted to good energy food for playing.  Being outside in 90+ heat, I didn't want any chance to feel crappy.  I also drank lots & lots of water.  We had a good night, not as good as last week, but still everyone was happy.  The club will be closed now for 2 weeks for upgrades/cleaning/repairs and some vacations for the employees.

Today, I have a long list of things to do, so I will be heading off soon.  Have to go to the post office, bank, grocery store, Walgreens, and Curves.  Of couse not in that order.

    Well, talk to you later,

    Carol

    Re: AAA's

    Monday 6:00pm

Hi girls! I had a BUSY weekend and it was wonderful!!!

The visit with my mom didn't happen; everything got in my way and by the time I got to Lansing, it was time to meet my sis for dinner. I figure it was the universes way of saying "not now." We had a great dinner out and watched old tv series reliving our childhood until midnight on Thursday.

Friday, we got up and I taught her a BASIC yoga class outdoors in her lovely back yard! It was real tough for her as she's very out-of-shape, but she hung in ther for 75min! It was a VERY easy style, but she was sore later that afternoon AND on Saturday and even Sunday!! I hope this lets her realize how much she NEEDS to start taking care of her body!

We then had a healthy lunch outdoors at a nice place, did a little shopping anf then I got on the road at 7pm to come home Friday night. I then had a tan and picked up some Thai Lemongrass soup to have for dinner. I slept like a baby!

Saturday, I did a 95min advanced yoga class w/o back pain! I did some crazy stuff I NEVER thought I could do! It was a great hard work out!

Saturday evening, 3 girlfriends from Ann Arbor came here and we all went to an outdoor concert (Elvis Costello opened for The Police!!!! My client GAVE me 4 $100 tickets as a gift!!! OMG! I got a hot new outfit to wear and dolled up real ice. All the girls are skinny and very fashionable. We had a BLAST!!!! I stayed out until midnight and had they not needed to dtive home (90min away) I could of stayed out ALL night! I goota say...I love being single! Don't get me wrong, I was a good girl..I just like a more social nightlife than what Jon can handle,

It is my true belief I am having a BUNCH more fun then he is! He has called once or twice a day since he's left! So to ansswer your question Carol: YES! I LOVE being a suedo-bachelorette!!!

Dana, I am ALWAYS thinking good thoughts for you and yours. I miss your presence here and will celebrate the day that John is feeling tip-top, is back home, and life returns to 'normal' and WE get you back as out daily alli allie!!! Just post when you can and when you want; we won't forget YOU!

Carol...your hubby is funny! I do hope you get those pastports in time! You might want to put a RUSH on them; it will cost a little extra, but for peace of mind? Oh hey! I FINALLY lost 1lb (it took 6 weeks!) and am now 161...only 9lbs from goal!! I also lost 1.5" overall on my waist, hips and thigs (actually 1/2" in each place!!) Yay for me!

This website has been nutty for several days now. I couldn't even get on it was so slow yesterday. And we lost our entire challenge thread too! What a pain huh?

Well, I am off to cook some Tofu Pups (aka pretend hot dogs) for dinner. I spent all of Sunday with a friend in Birmingham attending a Kabbalah lecture and then a nice dinner out. Alli friendly too. I figured I better stay home atleast one night...lol! Then Tuesday night I am going out with another friend for Mexican food!! Ole!

I'll hopefully hear from you both soon! Take care!

     Hi Girls,

I am back for one night here at home, heading back up tomorrow with the boys.  It has been a rough couple of days and I am feeling it.  John is having pain and nausea (and worse) and sleeping much of the day.   I hope he is up to a visit from the boys.  I know he really misses them but he has been feeling pretty awful.  I had been staying in the room with him but of course we will get a hotel now.  It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from here.  Not too bad but too far to day trip.  He is about half way through the big guns chemo and we are still waiting for word on a bone marrow donor match from his siblings.  I'm kind of a wreck, running on empty.  I stayed with John 24/7 so didn't get any exercise in.  I will try to slip out early tomorrow morning.  Miss you girls!  Thanks for your good thoughts.  Keep 'em coming!

    Tuesday 1:00pm

Hi girls...Dana, so sorry to hear things have been so sad and stressful the past two weeks. Gosh, a 3.5hr trip is nuts; for some reason I had remembered 1.5hrs ...that alone is stressful enough.

I am worried for you and John, but I know he is getting the VERY best care where he is at now. I pray the universe will be supportive to you, keeping you strong, confident, and at peace. We do the best we can, and the rest falls as it will. I am willing it all to be what you need and want it to be. Sending my love to you...hang in there and breath deeply, mediatate, and stay posistive. Will good things your way.

Carol...wondering where you might be today! Are you in band recovery land? Didn't you play last night or have I messed that up too?! You have npt mentioned if you want to do the August challenge...the old thread still isn't back and no one answered my post about it. So until it returns, IF it does return, keep posting on the newest one. I'll post August challenge info there tomorrow late afternoon (Wednesday)>

The masseuse comes here at 3:30. I have the guest bedroom upstairs all set up with Lavender candles, incense and a spirtual chakras CD. She should fell comfortable working there as it is my most peaceful room in the house AND the farthest away from my oft times squaking cockatiel!!

Hade an intermediate 75min yoga class today as the usual teacher had an emergency (she is the hardest Master teacher) so I guess that was good for my back!

I need to get some lunch before it gets too close to massage time. Hopefully we'll talk soon!

    Re: AAA's

    Tuesday, 3:10 pm

Hi girls.  Glad to see the website is up again.  I've been having trouble getting on the threads, especially the challenge thread.  I guess they must be doing some upkeep.  Getting on to my personal alli page has been up and down too.  Over the weekend I wasn't able to post to my nutrition log.  That's not good for me, because if I get out of the posting habit, I have a heck of a time getting back on schedule.

Last Saturday night was great!  Hot but great.  We recoupped all day on Sunday.  Drank lots of water and ate lightly all day.  Didn't post so I don't know the calorie/fat intake, but think I was OK.  Yesterday, I spent most of the morning putting away the equipment, drying out cables and repacking our gig bags.  House finally looked neat and clean again after the two weeks of band stuff here and there.  LOL

Dana, sounds like you are pushing yourself a lot.  I hope you get some time to get some rest/exercise to keep yourself healthy.  I noticed John hadn't posted to his blog on Sunday and I haven't been back yet today.  I'll have to go read and get caught up.  Glad to hear from you though.  We will always be thinking about you.

Carol Joy, too bad you didn't get a chance to see your mom, but like you said, maybe it was meant to be.  I need to get you to give me some yoga training.  I have done a little basic yoga the last couple of weeks.  As for the passports, I checked on the website (passport) and the ETA is about 2-3 weeks.  I'll keep you posted.

Today, I did some work for 2 of my clients, end of quarter stuff, and am now done for a few weeks.  I still have a couple tax returns left to do, hopefully they won't wait until the last minute.  Fat chance that will happen.  LOL  Gives me something to look forward to.

Tomorrow, we are not sailing but doing some maintanence to the boats, fixing the sails, etc.  Afterwards, we are heading to a different club for lunch.  Our downtown club is now closed for two weeks for summer fix-up.

We have had a lot of rain lately, so my morning walking has been hit & miss.  I've tried to do other things, yoga, DVD, Curves, etc. to fill in, but I sure do miss walking!!!  And YES, I do want to do the next challenge, I thought I mentioned I wanted to, but maybe it was on the "lost" thread.  I'll go now to post.

Got to go run a couple of errands, so I'll talk to you later.

Love ya girls, and hang in there Dana!

    Re: AAA's

    Thursday, 11:45 pm

    Hi girls,

Noticed that Carol Joy is online as I'm posting, so we are probably going to miss each other again, as usual.  LOL  It's becoming a habit.

Today, I went to Curves and did my "Smart" workout, boy am I liking this new format.  It is hard to explain, but I am really working to my potential now, instead of just working out.  The little computer on each machine has this wonderful green light if I am working the machines properly and this aggravating red light when I slack off.  So the object is to always keep the light green!!!  Afterwards, you take your little key (with programmed computer chip) and insert in the main computer, and voila.....your results appear.  Kind of neat to find out how many calories burned, how you did on each machine compared to the last workout, or the last 10 workouts.  I improved drastically today on my abs but my inner thighs still need a lot of work.  That aggravating red light kept blinking on that machine!!

Yesterday, we didn't get to sail, rain kept us inside.  But we rerigged the sails on the boats and I learned a lot about the proper tightness of the sail ties.  Afterwards, a few of us headed out to the beach for an hour before going to the other club for lunch.  We did get sprinkled on at the beach, even though the sun was shinning.  Go figure!!

Dana, when are you going to be renting an apartment?  Will you be close to the hospital?  How was the visit with your boys and John?  I read John's & your blog today and am hoping John is doing better today.  He still looks pretty good.  Keep the faith and I'll be praying for John and you and the boys.

Carol Joy, how is the bacheloretting going?  When does Jon come home?  You've been absent, so I guess you are having a great time.  LOL

My stomach just growled, so I guess I will go and pop a LC in the microwave.  Talk to you girls later.

    Take care,

    Carol

    Re: AAA's

     Hi Girls,

Carol Joy, I got your card (and pic!) today.  What a day brightener!  Thank you sweetie.  You and Jon are both gorgeous!  You look like some famous power couple. It was so nice to put a face to the "voice" finally.  Thank you!

I got a haircut and a pedi this morning.   I am so stressed I almost left the pedi place in mid session because I didn't like the way the woman was doing it.  I ended up bursting into tears and the whole place came over and gave me hugs.  Geez!  I am trying to schedule a massage while I'm here too.  Hopefully I can hold it together long enough to enjoy it!  I have lots of R&R time scheduled for the weekend.  Boz Scaggs concert tomorrow night, game night tomorrow night with the bunco girls,  a hike with the birthday club girls, training with my Team in Training group (eight miles this week!) and, of course, yoga and coffee with my sisters.  All that should help get me into shape for the next week or so.

John may come home in a week or so if he is in remission and they haven't found a match yet.  We will go into waiting mode, but at least he will be here.  He is feeling better the past few days and blogged today.  He called me an angel.  (I don't think the pedi woman thinks I'm an angel!)

Anyway, I thank you both for your continuing support and feel bad that I am so wrapped up in what's going on in my life that I am no longer really any kind of support for the two of you.  I also know that you wouldn't want me to feel bad, but I do.  I remind myself that this difficult time will pass and I will be able to be there for you both again, in the future.

    Big hugs,

    D.

    Re: AAA's

    Thursday, 11:00pm

Hi girls! So good to hear from the both of you! I DID post yesterday (Wed) but it was rejected...think I let a name of a popular sleeping aid slip in!

Dana...glad you liked the card! Did it bring a grin to your face when ou saw "The Bunko Babes?" I had to include the pic as you've pestered me so long! I will send an updated pic soon. I think Jon looks better now as his hair is more current, but S&P...still more of the 'P' but less each year! Now you can frame it (lol) and think of me every night before you drift off!! THAT will keep you on an Alli friendly diet!

So nice to hear you are taking care to pamper yourself! I hope you got that massage as well. I must say from experience, a bad pedicure is no laughing matter and should be stopped a.s.a.p.! If I can see I can do a better job, I tell them thry need to stop and I ask to speak to the manager (that has only happened twice to me, thankfully!) I love my gal and have seen her for 13yrs now!!

I have scheduled myself to have bi-monthly massages in my home! I finally found a terrific gal and she charges either $45/he or $60/1.5hr! That is half od what I've been paying at the local spa! She sets up the table and I set the room mood! LOVE IT!

For Jons' 51st B-day next Thursday (which is also our 31st Anniversary), I have her coming here as a surprise for a 1.5hr massage. He will love it! Then I will make him his fave dinner as well as a 3 layer German Chocolate Cake from scratch! It ROCKS abd is SO fattening!! 1/12 of the 3 layer cake has 983cals and 72gm fat!!! Can you believe that??? I have been an angel all week and will continue all next week until that night! He will eat the entire cake in 3 days...he adores it but only lets me make it for him every 2yrs! He is so uptight about what he eats but does indulge in that! It is alot of work but so impressive!

Dana, also glad to know John may be coming home next week! And yes, I think you ARE an angel!

Carol....I'm all typed-out now..lol! Jon IS HOME!! He got home at midnight last night, went to bed at 1am, awoke at 6am and worked until he got home at 6:30. I made him a fave dinner of his: Lamb Chsps quickly marinated in olive oil, garlic, S&P, and basil pesto....a twist as I had no rosemary. I also made him wild mushroom risotto (ALOT of work) He was very grateful and enjoyed a bottle of French bordeaux, but by 9:00 his little eyes were squints and he konked out by 9:30. No romance yet!!

Jon brought me home a lovely Burberry handbag from Scotland (even though it is Bristish) as he knows I hate bulky sweaters, which is what one buys in Scotland! I was thrilled as I only asked for a SnowGlobe!! He is good to me. It is nice to have him home...I will admit the last 3 days were lonely. It is good to have someone to share with.

Carol I'm glad your new routein at Curves is challenging you! That was my complaint about the place all along: it is easy to slide by with a half-you-know -what workout. This new program sounds like it targets your heart rate to be sure you work effectively! Good for you!

Sorry you missed out on the sailing today, but I suppose boat maintainance is crucial huh? haha

Tomorrow i have to spend the day with the MIL...more troubles, she is slipping downhill....memory issues, stupid choices...I'm counting down the days til she moves Aug 25th. I love her but she is alot of work,

I am beat and need to sleep! Wishing you both great weekends; I'll post both days!

    Carol Joy

p.s. Dana...we can all take turns in supporting the one in need. Remember when I was highly depressed? You both came to my rescue as I went thru med adjustment. We wil forever be here for each other.
