hello sher i haven't been on much lately.My copmuter was screwed up for a few days and then we had a tragic thing happen. in our family.One of my cousins is engaged to a really nice girl,they just had a baby 10 weeks ago.Saturday on the way home from work(she has just gotten back after maternity leave),she was hit head  by another car and died.My cousin had finally turned his life around and found some one very sweet to marry.We had just met her at the family reunion a few weeks ago.As bad as that is the girl who was killed has a brother whos wife just died from lewkemia in april.She had had a bone marrow transplant and about an hour later had a massive heart attck, i feel so bad for this girls family 2 losses in 5 months.

Sher i will be praying for you i know its a hard day.

The garden is not doing to good.Mr woodchuck found one of the cucuber plants and ate it.My zuchinni just rotted away.So i have gotten one cucumber and  i see another 2 coming.My flowers are looking pretty good right now.Every day i get up and look to see how many morning glories i have.They are just beautiful,I have gained some weight back so need to get going back on eating good and exercising.The wheather here has been really nice the last 2 weeks sunny every day but cool and not humid.Well i need to get ready for work.

 Oy vey Linda .. my thoughts/prayers are with your cousin.  DOes he have custody of the baby ??  We always think we have the worst problems till something like this comes up.

Gardens .. let's not go there.  I mowed my down 2 weeks ago - that's how many more weeds vs veggie plants I had this year.  Not one pepper, no spinach, we enjoyed a few meals of string beans and not even a handful of peas.  I've been able to get 2 tiny cucumbers (Celia size) and possibly 5 zucchini (1 yellow squash). I have some butternut squash growing quite nicely - had (HAD) 1 pumpkin growing until last Friday night when I was pulling weeds up along the pool area Celia came to show me her prize .. YEP .. my lonley TINY pumpkin haha  Oh well - I wasn't meant to grow my own apparently.

So .. how is everyone doing?

Have to admit - I'm struggling.  I know now that I "can" lose the weight but what about the fat that isn't going anywhere?  I get so discouraged when I raise my arms and this fat (bat wings as I lovingly call them) just hangs there (sigh).  Heck I can put my arms down and the fat still sticks out.

My youngest child, his wife and 3 yr old daughter are now living with us.  We're going to renovate the basement so they have their own apartment (having a walk out basement makes it that much more convenient) but not having an empty nest any longer can be unnerving at times !!  Don't get me wrong, I love my son and his wife is just like a daughter to me and well ... Celia is my heart (she's named after my mom).  But hubby is so involved with his computer as soon as he gets in the door - I doubt he'd notice I was there if I had my own bedroom (which sometimes I wish I did hahaha)   There's just no "support" and for some reason I seem to have lost my own willpower to do it on my own.  Pathetic huh?

I purchased 2 beautiful hibuscus this past Saturday - went out Sunday afternoon and dug the holes and planted them.  I was SOOO winded and sweaty after doing that ... good lord, I'm just pathetic.

OK ... I'll slink back into lurk mode now. 

Hello Ladies!

I'm new to the Alli program as of yesterday. I will be starting on my capsules on Thursday and I am very excited!!! Can't wait to see some results. This seems like a fun group and you ladies seem so wonderful. I would love to be apart of the club, GAIN some sisters and LOSE some weight!!!

Are you over your pity party or can i join.Life just is getting in the way right now for me.I have to watch how i say stuff cause i got deleted again.LOL.

My cousin whos girl friend got killed is having a real hard time.He went back to work last week and ended up crying and going home.he hasnt gone back since.the baby is not sleeping through the nite and he is tired.I dont know what he'll do when he finally does go back to work.he just keeps saying he needs to bring up the baby.He is 2 hours away from all family so its tough.

I gained a few pounds but have started the battle to lose and lost 1 pound this week.

I know what you mean about family.My youngest use to spen half her time at her fathers and half here,but they had a argument and she moved here all the time.She goes over to visit but is not allowed to stay per his girlfriend,until she and my daughter have a chat,whhich my daughter isnt ever going to do.Its just to stressfull for her there.I use to enjoy my time alone,even though now she has a car and works were just passing by each other.LOL
