    hi alli family!!

I am 44 and weight 178, gained weight due to a back injury, when I heard about alli, and how it has the Treatment effects, scarey to say but I was excited....I have been on pain meds. and my bowels have been slow, so  I felt this might be the answer...been on Alli for 3 days now and I even seem to push the fat, but no treatment effects yet....I dont want to purposely eat fat to make it work, just confused...should I take Senna or lax. to make this Alli work...have done all they say, eat right , exercise...been walking the block twice a day...

anyhow,,,I just sooooo want to loose weight, and I hope you are all with me...

I am that girl in Charlie and The Chocolate factory that ate the candy,,,I have swelled up to a big round ball, and desperate to shed some weight.....44 and so much more!!!!....life is not over at 40 it should just begin...and this is a beginning...because being over weight, makes life so much harder for me at least, I want to make my kids proud of me, and me proud as well.

    take care family...

    Hello!

It's so much better to do this in a group...just imagine how much fat we'll loose together! :D

Don't take any lax no need for that. Good luck!

    Re: hi alli family!!

Hi Heidimarie.  I'm 36 and 260 lbs.  My weight has been an issue for me pretty much ever since I was involved in an auto accident at 17.  I fractured several and crushed one vertibra in my back.  My weight slowly crept on until I was out of highschool and moved out on my own then BOOM.  Two kids later and I'm the biggest I've ever been.  The weight deffinately has a huge impact on my life.  There is so much that I can not do with my kids (carnival rides, water parks etc.).  We even live 14 miles from the beach and I HATE going.  Swimsuits are for the back yard for me and shorts.....Capris are as short as they get.  I NEED to loose this weight for my health and for the sake of my kids.  It scares me to think of not being here for my children.  I would like for them to be proud of me.  It must be quite embarassing when their fat mom comes to school.  It is great to know that I'm not in this alone.  Looks like we are in good company.  Best of luck to you.  I start taking my pills tomorrow.  I hope these "treatment effects" help me with the will power that I so desperately need.  Keep posting your progress.

    Re: hi alli family!!

Hi Heidimarie.  I'm 36 and 260 lbs.  I have back problems as well, luckily I haven't had to be on pain medication, but I'm sure that weight loss would help the discomfort that I have from standing or sitting too long.  I haven't started taking alli yet.  I plan to start Monday morning.  My weight effects my children daily.  I have a 10 year old and a 4 year old.  Carnival rides and water parks.....Things I used to love I can not do with my kids.  I'm terrified to get on a ride and the belt not fit around me.  I would die of embarassment.  We live only 14 miles from the beach but I HATE going.  I hate swimsuits and shorts.  I am hopeing that the fear of these "treatment effects" help give me the will power that I lack.  I would love to be able to go to work functions with my husband and feel like I'm not the biggest person in the room. I don't have to be the smallest but blending in weight wise would suit me fine.

Don't give up! Keep going!  Maybe your eating habits aren't as bad as you think.  Maybe the fats are not your problem.  Maybe it's carbs or something else.  I don't know but keep on it for now anyway.  Keep posting.  I'd love to hear from you at the end of the week and see how you did.

    God Bless,

    Christy

    Re: hi alli family!!

I wouldn't be taking laxatives with alli unless your doctor tells you to.  Not everyone is going to have treatment effects, so if that's what you want is treatment effects you're going to have to eat lots of fat.
