Has anyone had severe stomach pain with alli?  This morning I was writhing in pain for three hours, and can't think of what else it could have been except the alli.  All I had for breakfast was two pieces of dry cinnamon raisin toast, so I don't think that my eating habits were to blame.  This pain was so severe that I felt like it was as bad or worse than labor.

There was a post a few weeks ago where someone had severe stomach cramps for more than a couple hours.   I've only had that followed by severe bowel movements AFTER eating to many fat grams about 2 days before.

Have you stayed within your fat grams in the last few days ?  Have your pains subsided ... did you have any bowel movements afterward ?

 smarkell72, some times gas in tummy can cause lot of pain. try to take gasx if u have,if u dont drink some ginger ale or soda.

and some ppl who had TEs said they had server just b4 the oil leaks.

I started ALLI on 8/20 and I have also experiemced the severe stomach cramps, followed by ..well....I do believe it is from eating the more fatty type foods.. The cramps were not something I have ever had before the ALLI, The bowel movements were just like the ones I get when I drink espresso-like coffee in the am .. I am feeling fine now, but I noticed if I eat really fatty, greasy anything my stomach gets queasy.. NOT that I am trying to eat those types of things... Good Luck! Suzi

i've had an instance where stomach pain woke me from a sound sleep and persisted throughout the day.  i had overdone the fat grams a day or two before and as soon as it was out of my system, everything went back to normal. 

of course, i don't know if this is the case for you. you might want to post this on the pharmacy board, as well.  good luck - let us know what happens!

I want everyone on here to remember that this board should never replace medical attention. When you are experiencing pain like this you should seek medical attention to determine the cause. It's understandable why people come on here to ask if it's related to the medication, but there is no way for me to diagnose you.

I actually suffered severe abdominal pain last over a week ago followed by a fever of 102 ended up in an ER for 12 hours. I am following up with a gastroenterologist later this month. Strange enough no one in the ER ever heard of Alli. I'm off the pills but following the low fat diet and still losing weight at the same rate.
