    Re: Biggest Loser

I thought it was Hilarious how he got caught.  Now I knew about how much a gallon of water weighs only because it came up on here in a post and it didn't even phase me when Neil said it.  The fact that the other contestants quickly questioned how he knew how much a gallon of water weighed was priceless.  But you are right, I still think they should have voted him off.  The final group who didn't vote for him was crazy because next week he will drop that 17lbs and then some which means his group won't lose and another group will have to worker harder to stay in.  Am I missing something there?   It also seems like it would be really dangerous to down 2 gallons of water in a short amount of time like that.  It looks like it is going to keep the tension really high next week.

    Spoiler Alert -Re: Biggest Loser

Buzz, you missed a good one. :)  There is no more red, black, blue team...they were all broken up into Trios and Jezz won the temptation challenge and was allowed to pick the trios. The trio who lost the weigh in were each up for elimination.  Even though some trios were mixed of 2 or even 3 colors, they could still work out with the trainer they had been with.  Everyone except Amy stayed with their original trainer; Amy deflected and asked Jillian to help her.  Personally, I think after Kim's comments last week, Amy was completely within her right to go to a new trainer.  But in the end, Amy didn't lose a single pound.  I'm so surprised they didn't show Kim laughing in her face, but they had a bigger drama at that point. One other contestant, can't remember who gained a pound.  But it came down to the final team of Jezz, Neil and Isabeau, Jezz lost 6, Isabeau 4 and they only needed 11 pounds down to win.  But when Neil weighed, he was UP 17 LBS!!!  Turned out he had told the other members of his original blue team he would throw the weigh in so that they could vote off Jezz or Isabeau from the Black team as a weigh to keep their original alliances.  Bob was extremely angry!  In the voting room, they only got 1 vote per trio, the first trio voted for Neil, but the other 2 voted for Jezz and he ended up going home.  If the final team had voted for Isabeau, Neil would have gone packing because the tie breaker was to be whomever lost the least that week would go.

    Re: Biggest Loser

OH MY GOSH .. I can't believe Neil last night.   I agree - either the show should have booted him off or the other members.  There is no way the other members are going to trust him again - even his own original 'blue' team, that doesn't say much for them since they knew about it !

    Re: Biggest Loser

I was so mad last night. That was underhanded and no way should he been allowed to stay. What goes around comes around, he will get his soon. I realize they all want to win, but to do it that way was terrible. I support everyone losing weight an would never cheat to get ahead in a game. I don't think I have ever seen Bob get so mad and cuss on that show like he did last night. Watch out next week, he will work that guys tail off.

    Re: Biggest Loser

Well Linda you were right, Bob worked Neil butt off last night, and he lost an astounding 33 pounds, which I think was crap cuz her really only should have lost 16. How unfair was that to the team that ended up with the elimination? Couldn't believe they counted that 17 pounds as weight loss. What a messed up show. I certainly hope he doesn't end up being "The Biggest Loser". If he wins, I'm done watching. Sorry had to vent.

    Re: Biggest Loser

Neil has got to go. He's playing unfairly and I was sad to see David go home. Neil needs to get off the show. I'll bet he won't keep the weight off after he leaves the campus. I feel bad for Kae - she doesn't need that stress, you know?

Heh, hope you have good aim Sher :)

I watched the show last night but must admit I did it from the cozy comfort of my bed while I could see my little munchkins splashing around in the bath!  I cannot believe how different Kae looked just from the time she left the ranch to the live show last night.  She did that in 3 months!  It's given me new motivation to stay the course!

WOW - clean them up and you can take them anywhere .. very nice makeovers !  I wouldn't want a makeover so much when I'm close to my goal weight - but more like wing removers and flab removal :)  :)

    Re: Biggest Loser LIVE TONIGHT

Ok. Mr. Late-in-the-house here ... watched almost all of one episode last night (first episode seen). Now I come into a show like this recognizing that this is entertainment, and that weight loss the way they do it is rarely sustainable without a huge struggle, and only advisable while under serious direct supervision of physicians, which they are.

    < start of rant >

Oh the irony. To tell Kae, who is the biggest loser in the HISTORY of the show that she is not the biggest loser. Talk about a credibility killer. She took her $5,000 shopping spree and laughed all the way home I bet.

And I think the people who voted her off ARE big losers, but not in the way the show means it. They are all a bunch of stinking cowards who want to pick off the strongest so their sorry behinds stand a chance.

    Yeah, they are losers alright.

I may watch it again but after last night I'm not so sure. I think the real "Losers" are all here on the alli board working it out day by day the hard (and sustainable) way.

    Ok

    < end of rant >

    Re: Biggest Loser LIVE TONIGHT

i just watched the biggest loser uk marathon on fox reality- great idea to run it during thanksgiving

i was struck by how much less the uk contestants lose on average compared to the american version- which, tbh, i think is healthier and probably gives them a better shot at keeping it off. pretty entertaining. and it inspired me to go running, even on thanksgiving with some snow on the ground
