    Gosh, I think I FINALLY found my magic numbers (cal/fat wise!!)

    Ok...  so I have now been on Alli for 8 weeks, 2 days (started July 5).  I started at 142.8 and as of today 127 lbs !!!  I come to the realization through the weeks and many hours of researching the right food balance and planning meals everyday and reading the messages boards that I loose when I stick to 1440/36 guideline.  When I raised my fat intake above 36 I gain weight.  When I go back to 36, I loose!!  My Alli online put me on 2600 calories to start but after a couple of weeks dropeed me down to 1400 calories.  I have experienced through the weeks slighty different calories and fats around my target guidelinedown, I am happy to say, I THINK these are my numbers!!!! (1440/36)  I seem to lose or standstill for a day on these numbers which is better than going up and down 1-2 lbs everyday!!!!

    I do the treadmill 5x a week for 30-40 min and some light weights and floor work for 20-30 5x/week. 

    So as of today I have now lost almost 16 lbs and many inches as well.  I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with ALLI!!!!!!!  I THINK I NEED TO DO THE YAHOO DANCE!!!!!!!

    SW: 179 - size 16 CW: 175 GW: 150 - size 10 (very comfortable also) First goal date: Sept. 17th (15 lbs)

     Wannabefit, congrts on ur weight loss. i am been trying to keep my fats and cals in check but i can never get it so precise. some days i am over some days i am under..how did u figure out ur no?? goodluck buzz

    Hi Allibuzz,

    Thanks.  I actually have been playing around with the numbers a few days each to give it some time since your weight can be reflected by what you ate a couple days prior.  And it seems for 4-5 days in a row with the same numbers for me (1440/36) only taken in fat during meals, not in my 2 snacks I seem to either lose weight or stay stable.  When I raised my fat beyond that, a few times, I gain weight.  Its very interesting to see how I can move my numbers here lately. 

    Try and play with your numbers a bit around your core target guideline.  And after a few days see if your go up, down or stay stable with your weight.  Of ourse you will need to take into consideration if your around your menstrual cycle knowing that can throw all of us off!! LOL

    Hope this helps.  I am hoping my numbers continue to work for me and I will adjust again if needed.

     Wow, that is so awesome!  I have been on Alli 6 weeks now and have lost 14 pounds.  I just can't seem to motivate myself to exercise though.  It sounds like you are doing awesome with that.  What gets you motivated to exercise?

    I fluctuate my fat intake.  I usually stay on the low end, but two days a week I hit the upper range.  I feel in keeps my metabolism guessing.

     I am down to 137.5 lbs now and am thrilled!!!! The last 3 weeks have been crazy and I haven't felt great so I stopped exercising but plan on getting things back together within a week.

    Keep up the good work!!!

    Thanks hun!!! and CONGRATS to you girl!!!!

    I guess I get super motivated as I KNOW and am DETERMINED to feel great and keep losing at the same time!!!!  I'm the type of person, once I get motivated and refocused there is no stopping me! LOL  My husband said a couple of weeks ago that he "missed" certain foods.  Now mind you, I don't stop anyone from eating anything THEY want to, but he feels that since i'm eating healthier, he feels the need to do as well.  I told him to go ahead and eat that pizza if he misses it.  I AM FOR SURE NOT GOING TO!!!! I get soooo passionate about what I'm doing, there is no way in hell will I feel tempted by others!! LOL  and by the way my hubby has also lost some weight just by eating the healthier dinners I have been making !!!! LOL

    LETS KEEP US THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!

    Yeah I know what you mean about things getting crazy!!!! LOL  Last week my little one started kindergarten (OUCH!!! LOL) and my oldest started middle school (another OUCH!!! LOL)
