    Down 1 lb this week. Total 71 lbs since June 25th.   I guess it's good especially after the Holidays.  Back to work and my next mini goal is 15 lbs by February 14th...

    Down 2 pounds this week.

    For 3 weeks I had been the same weight.  I didn't gain over the holidays, so I'm very happy about that.

    Stayed the same this week.  Have not been able to exercise so much due to back problems.

    1 lbs this week.  Total 74 lbs since June 25th.  Still not able to totally exercise due to back injury but I'm coming along slowly.

    I did NOT loose anything. So not happy. I stood with in my grams, calor. I took the pills if I had more than 5 grams of a fat in my meal. So why didn't I loose anything? Can it be because I had no side effects, with side effects its obviously. The side effects are all fluid your body looses. I guess I am just looking for answer. I don't want to give up yet. But last week was week 1 for taking the pill. I walked alot. So I will give maybe 2 more weeks.

    I did not loose any weight this week. I followed the diet but cut back on exercise. I fell down my steps and could not do my jazzercise. I guess excercise is the key.

    Hi there!

    I'm Shanna, and I have been on Alli since 11/09/2007.  I am down 20 lbs! 

    I was moderately pleased with the program until I read a postthat made a lot of sense!

    Anyone having problems losing even though they have been "low cal/low fat" should go and read the post from Betty Kovaks on why you need to follow your fat/cal intake exactly as Alli recommends.  It's titled something like "Read this First....Why You need to reach your Fat Goals...". 

    I was losing very slowly in the beginning, and I was basically keeping to around 1500 cal./30g fat a day, thinking if I had the minimum amount of fat for the pill (6g), I would lose more weight. I have been walking around 8 miles a week and keeping very close track of my food intake on the nutrition log, fitday.com, etc.  I was satisfied with the 1-2 pound loss a week, but isn't that what would happen whether I took the pill or not?  Where's the 50% more that alli says you'll achieve?

    Then I read the thread from Betty.  Now, I'm dilligent to get my fat intake higher, without increasing my calories.  I no longer eat no-fat, I eat lo-fat. I even eat regular cheese, in small amounts.  I've even added sunflower seeds, almonds, pine nuts, etc. to my diet.

    I can truly say I am losing 3 lbs/wk (there's the 50%).  I feel like it's coming off FASTER.

    Try it!  Educate yourself!!!!  We need to run our bodies like the machines they are... so cool.

    Oh yeah, I check-in on Mondays too!  Good luck to everyone!

    hello all this is my first weigh in date and I am down 11 pounds total!!! 7 pounds before alli and 4 pounds this week with alli.

    Hello Again!

    I must say, I didn't lose this Monday; didn't gain either.  I was wondering why, and then figured out I wasn't getting enough water in.  I can tend to get really lazy about drinking my water.  I need to keep a gallon containere of crystal light handy, and I will drink it all day.  So I've been chug-a-lug-ing three days now, and I'm down 2.  I won't log it until next week though.

    I also went on Betty's post about getting in the required calories.  I've been thinking (uh-oh, not again!)....  I'm down 20 lbs. since starting Alli, and my calorie intake on the nutrition log has not come down.  I recalculated my caloric intake, and I should be taking in less. My plan calls for  1800 cal/ 60 fat, but I think maybe now I should be doing about 1600/40.  Betty says there is no way to make the change on the nutrition log .  Seems like you should be able.

    Anyone else wondering the same thing?

    Also, my clothes are fitting so much looser.  I bought new jeans last Thursday (size 20), and they were a little snug.  They actually came with a belt (me in a belt, YIKES!) that I had on the first hole.  I wore them yesterday, and I had to cinch the belt up two more holes to keep the pants from sliding down!  I was somewhat bummed about not losing this week, but the "clothing gauge" has given me renewed confidence!  Woo Hoo!

    Hope everyone has a losing week, and if not, remind yourself that the number on the scale is not always indicative of weight loss!
