Re: Top 10 List: Favorite snacks to grab and go!

Thanks for the great snacks on the go list...............I cann't wait to try the Oatmeal 'Creme Brulee' one.  I have just started on Alli this last Monday and can use all the suggestions out there and these are just great ones.  I'm afraid that I might not be eathing enough cause I'm afraid that I might get the after effects.........and as we all know sometimes not enough is not good.  I made the Potato Breakfast Skillet with Dill Seasoned Scrambled Eggs for myself and my husband and really couldn't believe how much there was to eat.  He really liked it too which makes fixing breakfast easier if I can make the same thing for each of us.  Thanks again and I will tell you how it turned out for us.  Keep up your good work on lossing weight............Cindy.

I made the 'creme brulee' over the weekend and it's is amazingly good.  I use it for a handy breakfast and add 1/2 of a banana to it.  I'm the kind of person that needs something ready and this works.  I cut it into 8 strips and like it hot or cold.  My husband even thinks it's good and that's amazing in it's self.  He is not one for low fat food....(LOL).  Thanks and now I'm off to try the roasted chickpeas.  Hope they satisfy the want for something crunchy.

Here's my list of Favorite Snacks

    1. Hot Chocolate (Sugar Free) W/ Fat Free Cool Whip  add a little Mint Extract for a minty flavor, Caution don't use to much Mint extract it will be overpowering.Try crushing Peppermints in a grinder and blend Hot Chocolate mixture in a blender then place in a microwave safe Cup and Warm up, Then add the Hot Chocolate (Sugar Free) Top With the Fat Free Cool Whip. Good on a warm night, Low Calorie.  Substitution add Half Fat Free Milk and Half Water and Microwave to desired warmth. Add whatever you like best Crushed Peppermints, or use Mint Extract.

    2. Chocolate Rice Cakes with Peanut Butter Spread on Top

    3. 100 Calorie POPCORN add I can't Believe It's not Butter Spray you don't need to spray to much and it will give it a buttery flavor.  Also maybe a Tsp of Parmesian Cheese, and Close bag and Shake after Popped.  Also a Cheese Seasoning may be added for a Cheesy Flavor. Shake well after the Seasoning of your Choice.

I just LOVE The Oatmeal Creme Bulee..........I use it for my daily breakfast with a little fruit..  I make a new batch each weekend so it's always ready and fast.  I was wanting to try the Roasted Chick Peas but didn't know how much you were allowed to have per serving as a snack.  MANY THANKS for the great receipes..They are a life saver for me.
