    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

quick note. I am trying to go back to more WWers menus today and did a lot of gardening and not feeling well. Just wondered if anyone else is having this kind of problem. My doctor is only letting me use the pills for 2 weeks so I am half way there maybe I should not be taking them I don't know but nice talking to you all here and I will go back on WWers the end of next week and I have at least learned i have more energy eating more good fats and I for sure will be counting every calorie and point on WWers. Best to all of you on your journey. Sunrise

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

I bougth the Alli book from Walmart and it says do not save for a meal and use Alli or you will probably get a treatment effect.  You can skip the pill for that meal and you will not get any fat blocking help.  Hope this helps. Good luck!

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

I'm confused too vickym.  My profile stated that I should have 19 fat grams/meal.  On WW I don't eat that much fat.  I'm not sure I should even be taking these pills with each meal.

I am in the same boat.  No treatment results, which makes sense since I normally eat a very low fat diet.  But I wonder if the Alli is still of any benefit.  What are your thoughts?

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

    Hey all you WW's!

I weighed in yesterday and lost 2.2 lbs.!  That is the most I have lost in the last month.  I believe that WW and Alli is a pretty good partnership.  Let me know if anyone else has had any success.  Let's do it together!

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

Hi- my fat grams are @ 19 as well and I never hit that target.  I flux between 10 and 13 per meal with WW.  Last week lost 4 lbs combining the WW and Alli.  Have no side effects - I don't think, just in the bathroom more often.  The effect, if nothing else is keeping me honest with myself and how I am eating.  I don't want the side effects of Alli - don't think anyone wants them!!!  :-)

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

I have been on ww for just over three years on and off. My goal was to lose 40 lbs when I started, the most I lost was 26 and then I started a new job where I was doing quite a bit of traveling. As a result I gained back 13 lbs. I have not been to weigh in for the past two months, since turning 50...I was so discouraged. I read all the infomation about alli and decided to try it with ww. I am at the lowest points allowed. How do the points equate to calories and fat? I am starting the alli pills on the 4th (no special plans) and in the future when I travel I will stay somewhere where I can make my own meals most of the time. I will be going back to weigh in on July 7 and my first check in for alli is the 14th. Linda

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

Hi, I've been on WW on and off for about 2 years. I just recently purchase Alli and thought that going back to WW would help with the low-fat diet.  How do ya'll like this pill? Is it helping, are you experiencing any side effects beside the bowel changes? I haven't taken any yet because I'm doing a week with just the low cal, low fat diet to get back into the swing.

Any comments or help would be appreciated. Thanks. ~Donna~

    Re: Weight Watchers and Alli

I have been on WW for 1 1/2 years. I lost 30lbs., but have been stuck for a LONG time. This has really helped my motivation. I just was not seeing the results that I wanted with WW alone...very slow weight loss even when I was PERFECT with points and activity.(I still need to lose almost 30 more pounds) Very Frusterating! So I started Alli one week ago tomorrow. I got on the scale this morning and have only lost one pound. I know I should not be disappointed, but I am b/c I keep seeing a lot of big losses. I have stayed within my points and excercised everyday. I have kind of blown it today...went over on my WPA's, but not bad. I ate some popcorn at the movie theatre & I know that put me over my fat gram allowance. I have not had any "TE's" as of yet and I have definetely eaten up to my limit many times. I eat a lot of healthy fats like almonds and avocado, but still stay within my points. I plan on getting serious again tomorrow and maybe weighing in again on the 4th (Hoping for a big loss that will help me stay focused over the long weekend!) Good Luck to All.
