    Lazy

Hi I'm very happy with this program, but I'm not doing it the "right" way.  I don't write down what I eat or count calories.  I've been eating healthier and don't eat as much.  So far I've lost 5 pounds in three weeks.  I'm happy with that and want to lose more.  Is anyone else doing it this way?  Not counting calories? or keeping a journal?  I know i should be doing those things, but I'm lazy.

    Re: Lazy

    Hi Emoon,

I don't know if I would call your actions lazy. I think that weight loss always takes some effort. Let's say that you're resistant to change or rebellious against having to do everything that you are told to do. They both sound like a better explanation than lazy. Right now, your plan is working so there is no need to change anything. Make a promise to yourself that you will keep records when you stop losing and until then celebrate your success and all that you are doing right!

    Congratulations on your success,

    Betty Kovacs, MS, RD

    Re: Lazy

I  am doing the same thing as you..as far as i can see, I am starting out at a lower weight than most here, so I expected my loss to be slower...

I began at 196 in september, and am now at 186...and I "TEST" the pill occasionaly too<snicker> I have had 2 bad exp. w/ side effects...not somethiong you would want to happen in public, i assure you!!!

my problem, and i suspect yours as well, is not laziness.....I hardly ever stop moving/working!!

I dont have time for one more GD list in my life, and Im ADD as it is.. I m surprised i dont leave the house w/o my pants on more often!!

I tend to "guesstimate my calories"

and I do try to keep it hovering around 1800 or so..I just need to exercise for real..I keep yo-yoing....

    Re: Lazy

I keep a food journal on fitday.com - mostly because it keeps me in line. But - I don't measure or weigh myself!
