When you watch the video of "Laura's Story" on the home page, when it is over there are images underneath it for You Tube and when you click on the next image it is a commercial for another diet product making fun of alli and the "embarrassing" side effects.... the girl in the clip actually runs out of an outdoor cafe with orange oil and liquid all over her white skirt with everyone there laughing at her. 

 Have you all already discussed this?  Sorry if you have....I just thought it odd that on the home page is a place that has such a negative commercial about the product.

When you click on the link to see the new alli commercials you also see these unappealing videos.

If you click on the commercial video, it brings you to Youtube and there is a selection of videos on the side - namely the one that Kathy mentions.

Hey Betty....I found it.  I was under the "what's new" section of the board.  It says "latest news" and then there is a thing dated Nov. 7th that says "alli in action" and it brings up "laura's story" and says it is from the "alli team" It is a shortened version of her interview.   After it finishes there are several photos underneath and the next one is the one I am talking about.  I was just checking things out and I went right to it....I know I am not the only one.  Or maybe I am! LOL  Anyway....44 lbs gone for me without a single TE so I say their video is a bunch of "CR*P" No pun intended!!

It's "you tube" and it seems the webmasters within YouTube have put all the Alli related videos together, the real ones and the ones of folks making fun of it :(

Sure looks like GSK may want to look at building their own database to let folks view video's and not use YouTube.

 Any website hosting company worth their salt could have a Quicktime Streaming Server up in minutes that would do the same as You Tube without the distractions.

I know my company can.

 i wonder why anyone goes to such lengths and effort to dipict something in such a negative way that has clearly been beneficial and in many ways life altering for so many people. i tell everyone who says 'you're getting so skinny, what are you doing'... exactly what I'm doing. hope it helps someone along the way

I reported this to the admin on the message board forum when I saw it and was told they had no control since they were streaming from You Tube.  I was told I could flag the video as inappropriate, but since it is an ad for a real product, whether the ad is tasteful or not, I doubt they would pull it.  Maybe Betty would have more success reporting it to GSK marketing.
