    Thank God Thanks Giving Food Is GONE

    Well I suck I over ate. I got rid of all my leftovers today. I am now done with beating myself up. I will be back on my diet tomorrow I am sure I will have gained weight. I refuse to weigh I just can't I will Sunday (weigh in day) I will expect to see weight gain then maybe I won't get to depressed and upset with myself. It is just so hard for me sometimes when everyone else is eating anything they won't too. Sheryl

    I'm glad you're done beating yourself up!  That is my worst enemy - more than food.  Once I start to get discouraged, everthing goes downhill from there.

    Today is a new day, and you have had many good days, so this will be another one. Way to go for getting rid of the leftovers - don't know if I could have done that!  Keep being proud of all that you have done well and the healthy choices you have made, and remember that there are many people here who are proud of you!

    I was also out of controll before, during, and after Thanksgiving.  My leftovers are almost gone, and it's time to begin again.  (I out did myself with the cooking this year.  It was way too hard to resist) I also weigh in today, and but as long as I am still down the 5 I've already lost, I will feel successful.  Hey, this is a lot better than what happened last year--I started over indulging on Halloween and didn't stop until the New Year.

    I hear ya! I had lost 4lbs prior to THE day and gained back about 2lbs. But, I did better than I thought I would, but not as good as I know I should have. 

     When I brought home the leftovers, I portioned them out in three containers so it was easier to not over indulge.  It seemed to work pretty well. I think I may do the same thing for other times when I know the food will be extra fattening.
