Hi Allive..
Sounds as if your on the right track. And way to go on following a good nutrition chart. That is a wise thing. Some people aren't sure what all is necessary to stay on a health safe level of dieting and unfortunatly starve themselves and/or does not receive the daily amount of vitamins and minerals a body needs, especially when dieting.
I have been taking Centrum A to Z plus a calcium chew daily as well as sensible low cal/low fat meals. For breakfast, before I have to go to work, I love cereal, so I bought on sale Some Special K. have some fruit and lean meat at lunch and fish and salad for supper (or sometimes I'll go to Subway, like last night...LOL ....Yummm LOL) I even allow for a snack and have these delicious frozen ice cream pops in the freezer that are NO FAT and only 20 calories per bar.And too boot, chew sugarless gum through out the day to keep my tastebuds dancing..LOL
Once a week, to enable me to stick to a diet plan, I will allow myself to endulge, (lightly) in something off the beaten path of what one wouldn't normally have on a diet..such as maybe a slice of cheese cake (Sara Lee...my fav..LOL) or a piece of Tiramisu cake from work. (I work in a Bakery...yes, it hurts..LOL)
But as long as I know I am losing the weight and I see the results at the end of each week, I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I read once that you shouldn't weigh yourself daily, but only once weekly, as sometimes your systems go null for a while and then suddenly will break free and the pounds come off. So, if some people don't see results all the time, they grow discouraged and give up. Also, I learned that as you burn fat and build muscle to replace the fat, you must remember that muscle weighs more than fat, thus it MAY appear your not actually losing the weight if you weigh yourself daily. Muscle is leaner and denser than fat and doesn't show up on the body as fat does, but can confuse some when it comes to the scales. I always evaluate my weight loss from the fitting of my clothes and a tape measure too......Don't always simply rely on your scale....ok?
God Bless and happy results....
