So, I wanted to post this both in celebration and in perplexity..
See, I went home for Thanksgiving break (I'm a student) and was ready to accept a plateau over the holiday.. I wasn't going to make it to the gym, and I've been going 5-6 times a week for the past month. That, and I wasn't going to have the choice of real healthy foods like I do when I'm in my own little world at school.
Imagine my surprise when, after weighing in at 201 on Wednesday, suddenly I was down a whole 4 or 5 pounds over the weekend! I equated this to a discongruity between the scales I was using (@ home vs. @ school), buuut no. I'm officially at 195.
I didn't work out at all.
I didn't eat THAT well; although I guess I did skip some meals so maaaybe my calorie count went down a little, but still. 6 pounds?? That's double the previous month's worth of weight loss. I lost 2, then 1, then 2, then 1... plus that 6 puts me at 12 altogether..
I'm ecstatic! But it still doesn't make sense.. hahaha
Should I just not question these things and count my blessings?
Probably... ;)
