    Skipped a pill....

    Hello,

I've been using Alli for 3 days now, faithfully.  However, today I had an unexpected lunch date and ran out of the office without taking my lunch time pill.  I did eat a very healthy salad with shrimp and dressing on the side.

Should I take my lunch time pill now?  Or just skip it for today but continue on with my dinner time pill tonight?

I hope I didn't mess up.  I would appreciate your comments.

    Thanks!

    Pdowdy

    Re: Skipped a pill....

You can take the pill up to an hour after eating and it will still be effective.  Since you said it was lunch and it is now 5:30pm (eastern) and the moderators have to approve every post then this obviously won't get to you before that one hour expires.  But, in the future feel free to take the pill up to one hour after your meal.  You didn't mess anything up, you just didn't have the fat blocking benefits of Alli for your last meal.  Not a big deal at all.  Take it for dinner and try to remember it from now on.

Take pill 1 hr before, during or up to 1 hour after or skip.  Don't double up.

    Re: Skipped a pill....

alli can be taken within one hour of a meal (before or after). I know it is too late to help with your lunch dose but if you forget your dose and more than an hour has passed since your meal, you should skip that dose.

Making alli part of your pre-meal routine and carrying your capsules in the shuttle provided with your starter pack may help you remember your dose in the future. Don't worry, you didn't mess up....keep up the good work!
