    Get out of the 170's challenge

    ok, so i did one of the 30 day challenges but it was hard because there are so many people.  I feel like i need accountability and for me that means being able to get to know the people who i am striving with...  is anyone around 170/180 that wants to lose?  i'm looking to put together a group of 10 or less people that will check in religiously and do mini challenges? anyone in?

    hi ! i am your person!!!!!! i am 178, up and down, no motivation, 52 yrs. young, in east Tn. not sure how the challenges work but i am open to trying anything. i have been on alli off and on since july, lost 17 lbs first 5 weeks , but up and down since....i know it's going to be hard the next few weeks but looking for "something" to really get me going by the first of the year. let me know if i can help you or you can help me. thanks...candice

    What IS it about these darn 170s? I've been taking Alli since September... started at 202... last Sunday was down to 175... this morning up to 179 again! I was hoping to breeze through the 170s by New Years Day, but I guess that's not happening. I'm 54, so probably won't be able to keep up with your 29 year old metabolism, but I'm willing to give it a go. Then maybe we can tackle the 160s...

    This sounds like the thread for me. I started alli 3 weeks ago and stopped after 4 days because I got a really bad cold. I have not been able to restart or get back on track AT ALL!!! I'm eating horribly and not exercising. I totally need support for sure. Last I checked I weighed 172. I'm looking to restart this Monday. It's so hard!!! I know that once I get back into I'll feel great but it's the getting back into it that is SO HARD!!! GRRR!!! Plus, I am moving to New Zealand this spring for a year to travel. I want a nice hot body to go to the beaches with!!! That is really the only motivation I have right now. And it doesn't seem like it's enough quite yet. I could totally use any advice that you guys are willing to give!!! Hope you all are well!!! Sara

    Checking in again!!! I was the last one to post so I don't know if anyone is still up for checking in and keeping each other motivated. I started getting back on track with the healthy eating and I'm gonna try and incorporate the alli capsules back into my diet by this weekend, hopefully. And I'm gonna go to the gym tomorrow and start my walking regime. Anyone else???

    Sorry I didn't post back to you yet but I'm still checking back here. Congratulations on returning to healthy eating. I think taking the Alli pills is a good idea. I don't know if I'm actually loosing more weight than I would have by just following the diet, but I know taking the pill makes me feel more like I'm actually following a plan, and makes me more accountable. I'm still taking my pills and following the plan. I even joined a gym to increase my activity, and I've actually be going! Tommorow's my weigh-in, so we'll see what that brings!

    Hi ...I have been at 170 now for 3 weeks and would like to join if possible I am down from 205 or so....but stuck...

    hi 170's people!  i am still in this range... grr!!! i am mad at myself for not trying harder, but i didn't gain over the holidays so that makes me happy.  new years was hard seeing all the cute girls dressed up and it made me really sad, but i know i can do this and i will!!!!  anyone have a mini goal for this first week in the new year?  i'm not going to have alcohol this week....

    Hey my name is Diana, and yeah, I'm willing to join as well. I've been stuck on 176-177. I can't stop seeing those numbers on my scale. Anyways, count me in ! :)

    well, if we're going to do this we need to check in more regularly! so, let's post every day about whether we stayed within calories and whether we exercised. Stephanie -- 1/4 60 min. elliptical, good eating so far!

    Oh my goodness, I am in the 170's been there for a long time, i finally reached 170.4 this morning, I am really hoping to be out ASAP! good luck !!!!!!!!!!!

    wow estalling! that is awesome !!! i am so jealous!

     

    i'm really hoping to be below 177 this week. that would be a new low for me and i know i can do it.  i've been working really hard and i need about another 400 calorie deficit to make it.  2 more days!!! gotta work out!  my problem is when i screw up i have this attitude that i should just throw it all out the window for the day instead of just indulging a little bit.  ugh.  wish me luck! and let me know if you make it!!!

    Hi there!  I, too, am in the 170's...last time I was weighed on Tuesday I was 177.  My initial goal is 150.  It seems SOOOOOO far away.  I am definitiely watching fat and calorie intake and trying to excercise at least 3 days per week. It's tough, but we can do it.  Best wishes!
