    Dizziness

Has anyone express issues with dizziness and taking Alli? This is my first day taking it, and it is probably all in my mind, but I feel a little light headed today.

    Re: Dizziness

Alli works only in the gut (small intestine) to block some of the fat that's eaten.  Other than loose stools or oily discharge I don't think dizziness is a side effect.  However, you might want to post this on the Pharmacists Message Board.  Please mention any other medications you take on a regular basis, so they have the whole picture.

Let me know if you need anything else.

    Re: Dizziness

This is my fourth day taking Alli and I too had some lightheadedness and mild headaches for the first three days.  Today, I have felt great.  One tip I got from this message board was to make sure to stay hydrated - plenty of water.  I was thirsty alot.  Also, I think my body was adjusting to the change in diet.  Try and stick with it if it's not too bad - it will probably pass.  Good luck!

Yes, drinking enough water to stay hydrated is very, very important for losing weight and feeling good.  However, the reduction in calories - and sometimes - and caffeine will also have that effect.

I'm glad you're doing so well and feeling good.
