    The Meal Plan

I started religiously making meals from the meal plan.  It is a bit tedious but the meals are very filling and leave you satisfied.  The hard part is that you cannot buy the quantities listed just for one person and in my family I cannot cook for just one.  My family has agreed to try everything I make so I have been going through the meals and multiplying the recipes by 6 which takes a lot of time-I wish Alli had the "family plan" meals and not just for one.  I spent way too long at the grocery trying to read labels and find all of the food on the shopping list and it would help if the list was alphabetical.  Alli adminsitrators, I am sure you are overwhelmed but please consider making a few of these changes to make it easier for us serious losers.  It is hard getting used to eating everything "fat free" because the taste is so different but I am looking forward to making this lifestyle change and I guess I can easily "forget" how much better the fatty stuff tasted!!.

    Re: The Meal Plan

    Hi Lesleewee,

I think that it's great that you have your family trying the foods with you. The research is very clear that our childhood eating habits and preferences greatly impacts us as adults. If you are changing your eating habits for the better then your family will all benefit from doing the same. I know how hard it is to shop and prepare new foods so congratulations on sticking with it. You have some great ideas that I will be sure to pass along. Good luck, Betty Kovacs, MS, RD
