    Already eating low-fat/low calorie

I already eat a low-fat/low calorie diet.  I usually eat no fat yogurt for breakfast, weight watchers 2 point meal for lunch with additional vegetables such as green beans, mushrooms, salad, for dinner I usually will have about 6 points (WW) of some sort.  Then fat free snacks throughout the day - applesauce, fat free cottage cheese, carrots, grape tomatoes, fresh pineapple, apples and microwave popcorn (like hot air popped).  I walk 4-5 miles on a treadmill in the morning and another mile outside at lunch.   I gather that from everything I am reading that Alli is probably not for me since I am consuming probably no more than 15-20 grams of fat total per day.  My question.  There are occasions that I will eat out and have a high fat meal, (mexican)  I know that I now need to choose more wisely and not eat as much, but I am under the impression that it will benefit me to take Alli even if just for that meal is that right?

I am also eating right and getting my exercise and weight trainning. I have been on Alli for a week and have not seen any results. I have not had any of the side affects. Is it right for me? Or is it ok to take it when I do not eat right?

    Re: Already eating low-fat/low calorie

alli is not for everyone.  It is not a miracle pill or a quick fix.  Because of the way it works, alli must be use in conjunction with a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet containing about 15gm of fat per meal.  There may not be any additional benefit to you with 20gm of fat per day.  The treatment effects that may occur with a meal containing more than 15gm of fat  is usually at the beginning of treatment and go away once your body adjusts to alli. Alli is not formulated for occasional use.

From you you describe, you are doing a great job already.  Keep it up!
