    Alli recipes

I have been on Alli for a week. The meals that I have tried from the recipe list are all tomatoes, green peppers and onion, which is great, but, the food is bland. Where can I get good recipes and stay within 1200 cal a day, 9/9/12 fat ?

I have been really good and have portioned all the snacks out, and haven't even wanted to cheat on the diet. (I am terrified of the "treatment effects" while at work!)

    Re: Alli recipes

    Hi and welcome to Alli

Have you done a search on your "my alli plan" under the recipe search option?  Also - since you're here in the recipe forum- check out the recipe's we as members have posted - I doubt you'll find a bland recipe posted !!!!

Do you take your lunch to work?   A lot of times I'll grab a Lean Cuisine meal or one of the low cal/low fat frozen meals that I can just heat up in the microwave - they fit my lunch program perfectly and when you only have 1/2 hr. it works for me :)

    Re: Alli recipes

Thank you for the reply. I can take my lunch to work, and most of the time I do plan on that, to stay on the plan. Today, however, I had the Wendy's Jr. Hamburger! It fits the plan, AND it was yummy!

I like the Healthy Choice Steamer meal. They are good, low in fat, calories and most of the time low in sodium!

    Re: Alli recipes

We go into Sam's Club about once every two weeks - I normally (prior to my oral surgery) would walk out with one of their broasted chickens.  I would bring it home and immediatley cut all the meat off the bones.  I then can use the meat for, chicken sandwiches, chicken soup (a can of chicken broth, carrots, onion, celery - poof, homemade chicken soup !!), I made a low fat cheese sauce and add chicken to it and sometimes even brown rice - I normally made enough so that I have leftovers for lunch !!!

    Re: Alli recipes

I have been on Alli now for 3 months and have been consistently losing weight. I love food and I thought this would be another diet plan that I wouldn't be able to stick to because of small portions and what not but I love it. I have never been hungry once and I love the food. Definitely worth the time. And what is nice is that it helps you learn to eat healthier overall so its not "just some diet pill"
