    Starting over again---anyone else?

I'm starting over again. I really like the Alli plan and did really well..but then went off the plan and gained back some of the weight over the holidays.I figured oh well no reason to beat myself up....so here I am more determined then ever. Looking at the fact that I weighted 168 last March and today I weigh 162----I'm still down a few. I vow to be down to 130 by June.

Anyone else have to retreat and regroup ?

    Re: Starting over again---anyone else?

Count me in.  I started Alli on November 11.  During the holidays, we took a 2 week vacation and I did not take Alli.  We went to Disney and home.  My husband was suprised that while in Disney, I woke up before everyone and went for 30 mins on the elliptical (7 days) and walked an average of 9.5 miles a day (pedometer). I ate pretty healthy for breakfast and lunch, but allowed myself to enjoy dinners.  Then, we went home for vacation where I had less of an opportunity to exercise and control the types of food I ate. I dreaded the scale when we returned from our vacation, but was happy to see I had only gained .5 lbs!!!  I have since returned to Alli and have lost another 3 lbs.  My total weightloss is only 12 lbs.  I had hoped for more; however, given the holiday break and the fact that I am loosing, I am not going to complain! to loud!!  My overall weightloss goal is to loose another 40lbs.

    Re: Starting over again---anyone else?

I am starting over. I don't remember when I stopped taking alli, but my homepage said I missed 4 checkins. I am 7 pounds heavier than my original starting weight. It is discouraging, but I've been back at it for a week and am already down 4 pounds. I had lost 30 pounds 4 years ago with excercise and eating healthy, and kept it off for 3 years. Then I came home with my daughter (she's adopted). I gained weight and I don't even have the pregnancy excuse! I have lost weight before and kept it off for a long time, I know I can do it again, and it's nice to know I have alli this time to give me some help!

    Re: Starting over again---anyone else?

Count me in as well.  I started over last Wednesday and I am so determined to get this weight off once and for all.  I was completely relieved when I discovered that I made it through the holidays without taking Alli and didn't gain any weight.  I worked hard to get on the other side of 200.  Anyway's I'm wishing all of you the best of luck.  Last week, I started the diet, then the pill and began to incorporate exercise into the equation this week.  So far I've made it 3 days at 30 minutes on elliptical.  I am trying for 4 days at 30 mins on elliptical and 1-2 hours at the gym on Saturday.

     WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

    Re: Starting over again---anyone else?

Yes, yes and again yes!!  I did the same as you.  I'm so afraid of the treatment effects and my lack of self disipline over the holiday season I decided not to take Alli until after the holidays were over.  Since I had no fear of experiencing any ummm treatment effects I pigged out and gained about 5 lbs. Both you and I are the same weight and have the same goal.  I know I can do it with the Alli but without it......?????

I hate to say this but I am so very happy I'm not alone.

    Wish you all the best!!
