Hi everyone! Since there are several of us with a goal weight of between 145 and 155 that have expressed interest in a support group, here it is! I suppose I'll be brave and start with my numbers...oy vay...

Okay, so 181 may not sound high to many of you, but I am a mere 5' 0 tall. Although I have a curvy, broad-shouldered, athletic/muscular frame, 181 pounds is a LOT for 5' 0. I am a single mother and a full-time college student. I have a busy, sedentary (in the car, in class, writing papers, doing research, etc.), and very stressful life right now. (It doesn't help that I have not made myself a priority AT ALL since having my son 4 years ago and starting school.) I just started the low-cal/fat diet and the Alli program this past weekend. I am fortunate enough to have a treadmill so I don't have to embarrass myself at a gym (plus I hate excercise), and my initial goal is to work out at least 3-5 days per week. I just had to make up my mind that I was NOT going to be a fat graduate (I graduate with my Bachelors degree in May). I also do NOT want to let my weight continue to creep up, and I desperately want to be around and healthy for as long as possible to see my little boy grow up. I hope to see the rest of the 155 girls succeed, too! Maybe someday I'll even see 145 on that scale again...
