    Just curious...

Would like to know from those of you who have been on this medicine for at least a month, what your results are. I'm considering the product.

    Re: Just curious...

Since nobody has posted yet, I thought I would give you my two cents.  I have only been on Alli for about two weeks now, but I have lost 7 lbs.  I have noticed that I have been going to the bathroom more often, but I haven't experienced any treatment effects.  I like taking Alli because it gives me incentive and motivation to eat well, otherwise, I will experience the wrath of the treatment effects.  I have just started going to the gym, walking on the treadmill, and trying to eat healthier.  I now make a conscious effort to buy fat free or low fat products.  Hope this helps!

    Re: Just curious...

Have you ever eaten the Egg McMuffin from McDonalds?  It is great.  I never ate it until I saw it in my Alli book.  I tried it.  I thought it was just a Muffin with some egg in the middle.  I tried it and come to find out it has canadian bacon and cheese on it in addition to the egg and muffin.  It has 300 calories and only 12 grams of fat.  About $2.25 is the cost but I drink water with it or a diet drink.  Very filling and keeps me from getting bored with Special K.

    Re: Just curious...

I justed started the program and I'm very excited. I'm not a cook either but I found that The alli Diet Plan book is a great tool. It will give you several menu opitions and receipes for your calorie range some are meal plans with no prep and even have no-cook opitions. I have used the book to make my menu for the next week. It's working out pretty good.

    Good luck

    Re: Just curious...

yeah, but you shouldn't make it a habit...look at all the cholesterol and sodium!  It fits with your cal/fat, but it's still not healthy!

    Irishagyrl

This is my 5th week with Alli. In my life, Alli is a godsend. I grew up in a REAL country home.. where we thrived around country cooking. As a result.. I blew up to around 230 lbs (at 5'6'' and 20, mind you). I take Alli because I dont have the will power to diet and cut out all those bad foods.. but now I'm scared to death not to!  And I've experienced the treatment effects, and it wasnt horrendous.. but it was enough that I wouldnt want it every day.

So Far I've lost close to 20 lbs.. averging 5 lbs a week... for me, it's a miracle. I could lose the weight without the Alli... but it just gives me that extra motivation to stay on track.

Now I'm really reaping benefits from Alli because I'm learning how to cook healthy and eat right... and I hardly EVER crave those sugary foods anymore.

Long story short... I'm having a wonderful experience.. and I tell all my friends and customers about it.. just incase anyone is having the same willpower problems I was. I think all everyone hears from the outside world is "oh.. THAT weight loss program.. just the same crap as all the others".. but I'm not ashamed to share my Alli-life with people because I know how much I hated being fat.

An elementary teacher in Knoxville asked her students who their favorite team was for the big game coming up. Jimmy said- Well.. daddy is a tigers fan.. mama is a tigers fan.. so that makes me a tigers fan The teacher went to him and said- Jimmy.. if your daddy was a moron and your mom was an idiot.. what would that make you? Jimmy replied- A vols fan

This is encouraging. I just started today and am looking forward to similar results but the biggest benefit to me will be cooking and eating more healthy food!!

    Re: Just curious...

That's awesome on the amounts of weight you are losing.  I've been on the plan for 1 week, I've lost 5 lbs.  I don't expect to see that every week but I am doing my exercise & walking 30 minutes a day. along with taking my Alli and eating as close to my calories as I can.

Steadily working on my goals! SW: 156lbs CW: 146lbs GW: 115lbs
