    Re: Just curious...

Today is my first day on the diet and I'll start my Alli pills on Friday morning.  Is there anywhere on the website with a list of foods and their nutrition values?

     Thanks!

Brenda - You should have received a little booklet with your Alli set with all the values etc.

    Re: Just curious...

I not only use that "little book" that came with the pills as my bible but I cut out the label of the foods I eat the most.  For instance, I like Cheerios and graham crackers, so instead of having to fine it in the little book, I just look at my whole bunch of "cut-outs"

    Re: Just curious...

Actually - this should be posted in the personal experience board section but since you posted it here ... try calorieking.com or fitday.com - there are quite a few websites that give you nutritional info for foods.  But as suggested - read the literature given to you in your starter kit.

    Re: Just curious...

Jeez Louise, that's great! I've been on Alli for about a month and I've first lost nothing, then 4 pounds, then up to 1 lb, and now I have to almost start all over. It's maddening. I've made another whole booklet to keep track of every morsel I consume. I find it's easy to keep under 1200 calories, but I go over only a little on the fat gr... and then not all the time. I'm going to the gym 3x a week working out for an hour (1/2 hr on the treadmill) and I've noticed my body has changed a bit because of that, but my weight hasn't. I don't get it.

    Re: Just curious...

There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. My doctor told me he even takes it once in awhile so I decided that was good enough for me.

I started two weeks ago tomorrow, Monday, and have been doing fairly well. Not as I expected but now I am losing again. Six pounds in the first week and then the second week I went up a few but now I am on a losing streak again and need to start exercising.  That definitely will help.

Good luck - you will love it.
