    Re: constipation

Yes, I did at first. I use FIBER CHOICE (weight management).  Two chewable tables a day will help.  They taste really good too and help with cravings!!!

Drink plenty of water too!  Best of luck!

    Re: constipation

I have the same problem.  Not what I expected at all.  I have kept my calories at 1200 per day and have gained 3 lbs.  Don't think this product is for me.

    Re: constipation

That has been my problem also - no "no treatment effects" here.  I took some fiber pills last night so I'm hoping it helps.

I've stayed pretty much right on plan, maybe a little lower on fat.

    Re: constipation

I most certainly an not having your problem!  But, are you drinking enough water?  How low-fat is your diet?  You have to remember that you do need some fat in your diet.  So you might try adding some good fats, like avocado, banana, a little olive oil dressing on your salad. . .betting that if you do these things you will not be constipated.  Good luck!

    Re: constipation

I started the program June 15 and haven't had any problem with constipation. From what I read I was more concerned I'd have a problem the other way! But so far nada. I do take fiber supplements to make sure that I get at least 30 - 35 g of fiber in my diet per day. I really like the powder form that you can mix in a glass of water or your coffee or even sprinkle it in your food. It's tasteless and easy. They also have some nice chewable wafers. I'd buy the generic brand, it's easier on the pocket book!

    Good luck with your constipation.

    Re: constipation

Hey nadihov, I have been experienciing the same problem and the constipation and bloating has made me gain almost two pounds now . I don`t know if this is normal , I thought the opposite would happen ...  I am going to give alli a try till my suply runs out and if I don`t see any results I am going to stop taking it , I am a bit dissapointed by it . I have been on a low fat - low cal diet since march and have lost over 33 pounds but now I  have been at a plateau for a couple of weeks  .I had hoped alli would help me break it but the opposite seems to be happening .

    Re: constipation

I don't think so.  I go 2 times a day.  Try intoducing more fiber to your diet.

    Re: constipation

Have you cut out any caffiene products? I never had any constipation before, then when I cut tea out because it had sugar, I got constipated. This was before I started on the Alli. Then I watch on Oprah one day last week that caffiene wasa stimulate for your intestines, which causes your bowels to move. Hope this helps.

    Re: constipation

Any change in your diet can create a change in your bowel movements.  As you decrease the number of calories you consume and increase calories used up there is less waste to be eliminated.  How many fat gm are you consuming per day? Are you getting enough fluids and fiber?
