    Alli Plan

I have been on the Alli plan and its been wonderful and I am so happy that I started the plan.  This has been the best thing since sliced bread.  I love who ever invented this program.  They are truly a blessing from God.  Thank you so much and I hope all of you out there who have started this plan are doing well.  My words to you is to stay on the plan and just continue to eat the right foods and the weight will come off.  This program really works you just have to commit to the program and you will be happy.

    Re: Alli Plan

Hi sdc4563 - I see you've been on the plan since July.  Why don't you post this on the main personal experience board - that way most folks will see it :)

So how much have you lost so far ?

    Re: Alli Plan

Hi I started Alli 1 month ago and lost 18 lbs so far. I love to cook and eat so I have to change my eating and cooking habit's have been up and down with weight loss most of my life. gain 50 loose 40 gain 70 loose 80 I'm sure most of you get it...I wish I could just maintain.....Its like being a alcoholic only with food. If I fall off the band wagon its over.. My husband and I are bikers most of our time is spent riding motorcycles with friends and finding new places to eat do you know how hard it is watching everyone else eat good food and I'm eating salad or dry chicken breast. On occasion I pack a low fat lunch. I feel like I lost my best friend when I'm dieting. I love to loose weight I feel so much better and look better of course but the addiction to food is overwhelming I'm sure you all have been through that or you wouldn't be here I don't take the Alli with every meal but I take it with most meals that have more fat in them..My question is if my meal consists of only 5 or 10 grams of fat should I still take the Alli? Most of my meals are close to fat free. Thanks for any support...Renee

    Re: Alli Plan

WOW, Renee that sure gives me incentive.  I just started today and let me tell you food is my friend....I love sweets...but I know I can't just go and get them like my 13 year old daughter does...so I can't even make them anymore.   I love to cook too but I bought all lhealthy foods...and trying to incorporate those into our lives.  Yes I think you should take the Alli with your low fat foods.  You should stay consistent even if it is low fat.  To me that's the hardest thing keeping up with low fats, no fats, trans fat it's all so confusing sometimes.  So I just stick to what I know...veggies, fruits, grains, egg whites.  I do variations of everything so I don't get too bored.  Anyway, good luck to you and say a prayer for me.

    Re: Alli Plan

    Hi Renee,

It sounds like you and I could be twins almost.  I have just started Alli myself.  I love to cook, from scratch and I don't scrimp by using less than anything but the real stuff.  Everyone, including me, loves my cooking.  Food is always an event too.  We get together with friends and family and eat, we go out to eat, and my husband loves my cooking so I cook a lot at home, good ole' southern home cooking.  We also both have bikes and we ride together and with friends and there is always a meal involved.  I too have been up and down all of my life.  Lose some, gain lots.  It is nice to hear that there are others who are like me and have to fight this ongoing battle.  When I made my decision to try this I thought about why I have failed in the past and one thing I believe is because I do like to cook.  It is like a creative outlet.  So I am going to try this time to not so much rely on the salads and the diet frozen dinners but try to get creative with healthy cooking.  I think if I still can exercise that avenue and my husband and I can eat the same thing that it might help.  Good luck and keep me posted on how you are doing.  If you are like me I know you want to succeed!
