Hi, I'm new here to this board, too. But I do love what Alli is doing for me and I just have to tell everyone.
I am in my 50's and I started using Alli on June 24, 2008 and have lost 13 pounds as of this morning. I find that I am not following the diet plan. I watch what I eat, stay at or under the number of calories I am supposed to have, watch the fat grams, take my Alli capsules at meals and my vitamin at night, exercise more than I had been, and the weight is peeling off. See, I have never been able to follow a "diet". I consider what I am doing as a lifestyle change. I never feel like I am starving myself. Sometimes I feel as if I am eating more than I did before starting Alli. What it is, is that I am eating better...eating healthier. I have never had any treatment effects with Alli. I love the fact that you all are here for support and encouragment. I wish you all the best!!! Dori
Starting weight...180...current weight...167....goal...130....I don't care how long it takes...1-2 pounds a month weight loss is okay by me...I know with Alli's help, this time I am going to make it and keep it off.
Goal is to be able to run in anything from a 5K to a marathon. I have a 5K coming up in November that last year I walked more than ran. This year I plan on running more than walking.
