I think I've done pretty good this week. I still don't have a scale and don't plan to for a while, so I don't know exactly. They are way too discouraging for me. If I get one and see no results on it, even if it's because muscle is building, I might give up. So I'm currently just going by how I feel. I exersiced everyday this week besides one, and I ate my 3 meals except for one day when I just woke up too late. I haven't gone over my fat/cal intake, even when I have to snack at night. I think my sodium might be a problem, and perhaps carbs too, but I'm a little discouraged that I have to keep track of those too. Why isn't there even a place for them in the food journal or mention of them if it's so important? Have you guys lost weight JUST counting the cals/fat? Sigh. I really hate counting things. My bike-butt (soreness) is gone and I haven't hurt at all from the exersice so far in my legs, which is a little odd but welcome. I go for 30 minutes or at least 6 miles, pulled 40/7 one day this week. I did have a little problem this morning around 5 AM when I woke up feeling really bad/disoriented because my bloodsugar had dropped. Fruit wasnt working so I had to eat a bowl of cereal. Felt icky afterwards, but I had to do it. Still managed to at least acurately messure the milk so it wasn't over a regular snack portion. I've resisted all the things my dad has tried to get me to eat this week. Home-made icecream, "real" chips, suggestions of going to Caption D's (fried fish/chicken/hushpuppies..), pizza. He doesn't like it much, but at least I resisted. It's been a mini-rollercoaster of emotions this week, thinking it won't work, or it will take years (I want to lose about 50-60lb), or I wont be anywhere by Christmas/next spring when I desperately want to go visit my other half. Some days I felt really great, though. The first week is the hardest for me and I am glad I've made it this far; any other diet i'd of dropped after 2 days.
