    Day One

    Ok, I am taking the plunge.  I picked up my Alli starter pack last week and have been eating low fat for the last several days.  I signed up online today and will begin taking Alli today.  I printed several of the dinners from the menu planner this morning and my shopping list.  When I have lost weight in the past, I have found that if I have pre-planned menus to follow it really helps.  I weigh more now than I ever have and feel really down every time I look for something to wear.  I look forward to a shopping spree in my own "closet"

    Good luck and just take it one day at a time.  Don't give up.  You can do this and with every pound lost you will be closer to that shopping spree.

    Hi Bbmarinemom,

    Welcome to the board and family! I know what it's like to be frustrated by not being able to fit in your clothes. One of the most frustrating things about weight loss is that it takes time to see the results. You need to pay attention to everything that you eat every day and what you see in the mirror seems to take forever to change. Each time that you try on your clothes remind yourself that you are doing the work to never feel this way again. Stay consistent for 3 months and you will see a difference.

    I wish you lots of success and smaller clothes sizes :o)
