    alli with weight watchers

I am currently on Weight Watchers and having sucess but I thought using Alli would further speed up the weight loss. Has anyone done both? is it wise? I am currently eating a lot less than the advised amount of fats for each meal, do I need to change my eating habits? Thank you, Marly

    Re: alli with weight watchers

    Hi!

I am also using Alli with the WW plan. I have lost 13 lbs. since 1/7/08.

Seems to be working okay, but WW says I am losing too fast.

My normal intake of daily fat is usually around 20 grams of fat.

But, with my bonus points I save for w/e, fat intake is a lot more.

Haven't had any of side effects of Alli, seems to be working great for

me. Seems my metabolism has really picked up, is that possible?

    Good luck!

    Re: alli with weight watchers

I started WW on 10/11/07 and have lost 37 pounds.  Since the first of the year, my weight loss each week has slowed down so I decided to try Alli.  I took my first pill today at lunch.  I won't be taking three a day as I usually have a fat free breakfast.  Will this slow down my weight loss?

We recently had a Papa Murphys Pizza open in our town.  I get the cheese delight, which comes out to 3 points a slice (1/10th of a pizza).  I'm hoping that the Alli will help me to lose weight while I occasionally eat pizza.

    Re: alli with weight watchers

I've been on WW since October.  I lost 15 lbs, in 3 months, and am at a standstill.  I've just started exercising by walking my dog, now that the weather has improved, but I still have more weight that I want to lose.  I thought that Alli could help move things forward to my goal.

I just started today, so I don't know how this will work.  Sure hope it does.

    Re: alli with weight watchers

I am doing Weight Watchers and am losing slow this time!  I must be losing inches instead of pounds because clothes are getting loose!  I am starting Alli for the first time with breakfast!

I sure hope it works for me!  I bought mine at GNC and the sales guy also told me about Chitosan which works the same way but my doc said he preferred I use Alli instead!

    I am optimistic!!!!!

    Re: alli with weight watchers

It is nice to know other people is thinking the same way.  I have joined WW and have followed the plan.  My metabolism is very slow, and I was on Alli before.  I know it works and will be combining the two.  I will let everyone know my progress.  Good Luck everyone who is in the weight loss race.

    Re: alli with weight watchers

How is it going. I also have been on WW lost 37 lbs and slowed down. I started alli today in hopes of continuing the weight loss. I have lots to lose but would like to be down 30 more pounds by June.

Have you had and "effects". I know I don't eat the 15 grams at each meal because WW is low fat plan.

I would love to know your progress. Thanks

    Tina

    Re: alli with weight watchers

    Hi!

I like the combo of WW and Alli, so far have lost 19.50 lbs. in 9

weeks. I haven't had any serious side effects of Alli, but if you

follow the WW plan, you do not eat a lot of fat. I have found out

that at times, I need to eat a good meal with a little fat for

Alli to work. I have a SlimFast shake for breakfast every

morning with a cup of coffee and an Alli. The Alli works

    really "well" then,

I plan on continuing with both until I lose what I want to.

Don't forget to take a multi-vitamin every day, this helps replace

the nutrients your body may lose on diet.

    Good-luck,

    DW

    !

    Re: alli with weight watchers

I am also using both WW and Alli.  It seems to be working good.  I know some things that really work for me are that I eat within an hour of waking up to "wake up" my metabolism. Then I try to eat every three hours.  I take Alli with the three main meals and don't have any bad treatment effects.  I do not take Alli if I am eating something that is zero points or fat free.  Also I drink mass quanities of H2O.. all paired with a little exercise and your on your way. I hope that things are going well for all.  Stay motivated and take the time for yourself.

    Re: alli with weight watchers

I started doing ww last march and went from 230.5 to 165.5. I started to take alli last week and have lost 5 pounds. I have a hard time eating more than a 1000 caloires and 25 grams of fat but I have found that 100 caloire packs seems to be my big boost that gets me to where I need to be. Hope this helps.
