    Songs that pump you up!

    Hi,

I have been working out a lot lately and am sick of the songs on my ipod so what are some songs you listen to to help pump you up?

    Thanks

hi.  not sure if you like rap or not, but if you do and you don't already have it in a mix, "stronger" from Kayne West is great.  it's not new anymore, but that one does not get old for me.  ditto "SexyBack".

I like to run to the following songs on my iPod:

    Miss America by Styx

Don't Stop the music by Rihanna

    Whine up by kat Delune

Bleed it out by Linkin Park

Fuego by Pitbull  (I have this towards the end and it gives me that extra boost to keep going)

Re: Songs that pump you up!

I listen to all kinds new and old anything that'll keep my pace up, but a few working for me right now is:

    Hips don't Lie (Shakira)

    Jump around (house of pain)

    Pump up the Jam (technotronic)

    Get the Party Started (pink)

    Ray of Light (Madonna)

    Low (Flo Rida)

For me the right music is the difference between a good workout and a lazy one!

I like working out to Basement Jaxx, they do dance/remix.  The songs have a great beat and I can't help but keep up.

Re: Songs that pump you up!

I love Madonnas' CD "Confesssions of a Dance Floor" for cardio...treadmill or the climber. (Actually to me, most Madonna is GOOD!)

I like the old Rolling Stones CDs for intense climber/stepper as the base is slow enough to keep step to the beat.

I LOVE The Killers if I am jogging on the treadmill.

And I guess I am 'old school' when I lift weights! I'll listen to Guns N Roses or AC/DC! Even at age 50, I still like to rock n' roll to head-banging tunes when lifting! My fave though is David Bowie...loud!
