Ok ok.. I think that's enough "nicely assualting" carly. She hasnt said a mean word.. for all we know she could be a Christian and wondering if her posts will be deleted for religious signatures. Always give a benefit of a doubt, anyway!

I would be highly offended if you removed your signature line, we are here as a support team.  Each of us needs support from different areas, and it is vital to our success.

And her question whether it is "allowed" is completely legitimate. There is no right, First Ammendment or otherwise, to speech or religion on private property, and this board is without a doubt alli's private property.

I'm glad alli allows Christian sig lines, and I assume they would allow similar expressions from other religions and even athiests. That would only be fair.

Hi Everyone,
I am glad to see that the responses to this post became more understanding. Carly did not do anything but ask a question. Free speech allows her to ask questions and this board is here to answer them. I hope that Carly reads the last couple of responses to see that she is welcome on this board. I understand everyone's view on this topic, but ask that we are all sensitive to what we say to others on here. It's very easy to misinterpret what someone is asking on here so it would be best to clarify what is being asked or let me take care of it.

I hope that everyone understands why I am trying to protect Carly. I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe on here. I know that I wouldn't feel very welcome if I received the responses that she did.

Hi Carly,

I wondered the same thing as there are many restrictions on this board and there have certainly been MANY changes recently.  And I also wondered about the "Newphase" thing.....I've been on the program for quite a while but I DEF have not reached a healthy bmi, so this is a mystery to me too.  Also annoying!  I don't want to "restart" and set a new goal.....and I'm far from being ready to go on any kind of mainenance plan.  I still need to lose at least 40lbs!  I couldn't figure out a way around it, but haven't taken much time to mess w/ it.  But it did prevent me from entering my wkly check-in.  I'll try again later....

Continued success to you towards your final goal to drop another 10 lbs!

Although I am not so much a Christian as others, your signature does not offend me. Why? Because I do not have to read your signature. I read it once to see what it was, then when I saw another one of your posts, I just skipped reading it. You aren't trying to convert anybody, you are just using some text you know to keep you inspired. Carly never said it offended her either. Even if it does offend some, they also, can choose not to read it.

My favorite signature on these boards is the one that starts off T.H.I.N.K. before you act...that one inspires me the most to be a better person all around!
