    Re: APRIL Challenge Information!!

Hi Carol Joy,  I'm going to have to opt out of the April challenge.  My husband and I will be leaving for vacation to the Dominican on Friday April 4th and will be gone for 10 days.  I have enjoyed the March challenge and have lost 6 lbs and 15 inches during this challange.   I will keep my eyes open for the May challenge.

Good luck to everyone in the April challenge.   Tina

Re: Group Results: Friday 3/28 (DAY27)

Carol Joy - Sorry I've been "untrackable".  I just fizzled out over the weekend (didn't even go near the computer.).  I start my radiation treatments (everyday for 6 to 6-1/2 weeks) TODAY but feel I can participate in the April challenge.  I will not be put on medication until after the radiation so I really feel I can and need to participate.  Okay???  I plan on keeping my focus on the challenge.  Thanks, Lynn

    Re: Can't wait to start

Well, I am preparing for the April challenge, but of course cannot post anything yet.  I really ended March with quite a whimper.  I am afraid I was so busy with other projects, posting became less of a priority.  I also needed a mental break and needed to re-evaluate the program and what I was doing.

Over the last four months I have lost only 4 pounds.  Therefore, I will be going back to the 1600 calories for the April challenge.  I am thrilled with the new components of our challenge.  As I was already hip deep in a spring project, this idea is perfect for me!

My 5K is also at the end of the month I need to work more effectively at training so that I can complete the whole thing.  Time is not an issue to me as much as jogging every last step.  I have not jogged in a full week.  Now that my son is in track season I have to juggle my workouts with his track meets and my work schedule.  Love to keep busy, so this should be fun.

Best of luck to everyone on our new adventure!    Lorraine

    Its' a wrap!!! Final post!

Hi ladies!! I haven't had an opportunity to gather and post Friday and Saturday Group Results...it appears we are ready to call it a day here and most of us are moving on to the April Challenge and new goals!

Tina...I wish you well! 15" lost is INCREDIBLE...congrats to you! Have a wonderful trip with your husband! Maybe we shall meet in a future challenge.

You all did wonderful! Along with a few of you, I myself ended the challenge in a whimper rather than a roar! But like someone here said, life happens. All we can do it brush ourself off and stand up and try again.

Please look for the new thread with the challenge title. DO post your "WEEK 1 Project" tomorrow, please.

    It has been a pleasure!

Re: Its' a wrap!!! Final post!

    Hey All!

I've decided to join the April challenge. The two days of rest should be enough to keep me on track.  Thanks for the encouragement, Jane and Carol Joy!

    Let's do this!
