Re: what r good workouts to do in the house?

When I started on my life-style change in January I started with The Bar Method Body (2-Discs....can hardly be found now).  Now, 45 pounds down (YAY Me!), I needed a bit more of a challenge so I switched to The Lotte Berk Method (4 Discs).  I have never been this toned in my life!  They say in 10 workouts you will feel the difference and after 20 you will see it.  They are right!  The only things you need, for either vid set, is a sturdy chair, hand weights (start light!), and a towel (used for the stretching AND moppin' the forehead!).  The vids are very challenging.  I first checked out the videos from my local library and Netflix.  I combine these vids with an hour walk a day (around my back-yard).  My kiddos, my aunt and my sister-in-law have started doing these vids after seeing how amazing the results are!

Re: what r good workouts to do in the house?

I've been pet sitting all during the month June.  I wasnt able to get to the gym, so I bought  the Core Rythmns DVD's.  I've been doing them for a week, and enjoy doing the work out. Its a little confusing the 1st time, but keep it up, it gets easier to catch on.  You can really feel it in your abs. Believe me, I am soaking wet after 45 minutes.  I use hand weights afterward also.

I just got Turbo Jam today, so I am going to give that one a try this afternoon.
