    Re: lean cusines

I love lean cuisines! I'm eating one right now!! I really like the southwest bean and rice ones (there's usually that flavor for every brand). They're great for me cuz I NEVER pack a full lunch.. but if I grab one of these and some fruit and crackers, I'm set for the day at work. Also, if my husband makes himself a fatty dinner.. it's easy to get one of these and eat it slow.. then I'm full and won't eat any of his bad food! lol Another little treat for dessert I tried today is a Fat Free choc. pudding pack, 2tbs. of fat free cool whip, I mix it in the pudding pack and dip in fresh strawberries!! Tastes super yummy, and you're getting in some fruits, while feeling like a big splurge! : )

    Re: lean cusines

I eat Lean Cuisines all the time for lunch, they help me watch my calories and fat grams.

I also eat a lot of fruit, and especially Clementines, those little oranges have been a life saver to me.  When I crave something sweet, I can grab one of those and it satisfys my cravings, they have no fat, and are about 35 calories, and if you eat them with the membrane you are getting fiber also.

    Re: lean cusines

Here are some other things that keep me going--2 Cracker Barrel pancakes!!   They are very satisfying, filling, and great--the blueberry ones and the pecan ones.  I really don't know the exact cal. or fat grams, but I'm continuing to lose.  Also sweet potatoes, 1/2 pb and jelly sandwiches (thanks for the info for the reduced fat pb), 100 calorie packs of snacks, fudgesicles, banana popsicles, 90 calorie breakfast bars, malted milk balls, angelfood cake w. cool whip, jello with lite cool whip, and 60 cal.-0 fat yogurts.   If I have these I can usually be ok with cravings, etc.   LOVE alli---AM NOW DOWN 14 LBS.!!!!!

    Re: lean cusines

I LOVE lean cuisines! But Im confused-those meals dont get me even close to the goal fat & calorie intake per meal.  At most they are like 9 grams of fat.  Are you ladies supplementing with more food or just taking in less fat?  Ive been taking Alli for 1 1/2 weeks with no loss yet :-(  but I feel like Ive been eating MORE than usual to get my fat and calories up to goal...Any advise would be appreciated.

    Re: lean cusines

I have lost about 5 lbs (almost up to 6) in about 5 weeks - I am losing slow but I usually do not eat my full 15 grams of fat per meal.  I usually eat a lean cuisine, smart ones and I like the lean pocket pizza subs all which average around 5 to 7 grams of fat per meal - Usually I eat this for lunch with nothing else or I have a salad which low fat dressing and I try not to use a lot of dressing.  I try not to eat out a lot but when you do, you usually have to eat most of your fat grams.  This may not be helpful but I sympathize with you.  I don't get a lot of exercise which I am going to try and work on and see if that helps me.

    Re: lean cusines

    bmama,

I usually don't take a pill when I have 9 or under fat grams for a meal.  Some days I only take one alli.  I know it's stated tho that we should try to meet the no. of fat grams at each meal.  I also bought the alli cookbook (on ebay) and it has some really nice recipes-I haven't had time yet to try them, but I marked about 14 pages that were doable and sound like something I'd make and enjoy.  There's a cake recipe that is really calling me!

    Re: lean cusines

    Hi

I'm just starting Alli and already confused.  They say you had to have 15 gr of fat at each meal in order to take the pill but if you eat lean cusines, they do not contain that much fat. Do you take a pill anyway?  Prior to taking Alli, I wasn't eating that much fat, so I'm wondering if it will benefit me to go on ALLI.  Thanks

    Re: lean cusines

No you do not take the Alli if there is 15 gr of fat. The only time you take it if you go over that. Good luck to you
