    special k challange

    has anyone tried the special k challange?

    replace breakfast and lunch with a bowl of special k and drop 6 pounds in 2 weeks.

    does it really work?

    No, but that just sounds so boring to me, plus I would think after the 2 weeks were up the weight would come right back with normal food.

    Hey teenavanwhy,

    Yes i tried that and it do work I lost a total of 11 pounds in 2 weeks, but after that 2 weeks I was bored to death with that crap i wanted a real breakfast it didnt have to be a fatty breakfast just something real u know LOL!!!!!.  So I tell u it works but i rather do something where I have a variety of food... But i still mix the special K up with my Alli, I might eat some for a snack or some like that.  So i am not putting it down it is just quick to get tired of.

    Sure it'll probably work - is it healthy for you .. NO.  Wil you gain the weight back once you stop eating that way ... YEP and probably more.

    Why do people always want to take the quick way out?  We didn't get this way in 2 weeks - it's going to take more than that to lose it.

    Special K, or Cherrios, or anything like that is a great idea for a meal or even a snack.  Since they are fortified they are an excellent source of extrea nutrition.  Cereal is a staple for me because it helps me with my iron intake.  BUT anytime you try to deprive yourself, or eliminate certain food groups or meals you are setting yourself op for failure.  That is why the Diet Industry is so successful, nothing works and people have to keep going back to another diet!'
