    Tanning and stretch marks????

First off I'm only 21 and since I've been losing weight I've noticed some marks on my "love handles," around my belly button, and upper breast area..

So my situation is this: I normally don't tan, I'm mexican and have an all year round kinda tan, but for my wedding I would like to be a little darker (what I would look like if it were summer). I want to start tanning, but don't know how it will affect my stretch marks. I've been using Mederma and it seems to be working just gonna take a long time. I don't want to spray tan. I think it will rub off on my dress and it only lasts 3-4 days...

If anyone has experience with this please help me out. I'll take any advice.

     Thanks!

    Re: Tanning and stretch marks????

I think stretch marks show up more when tanning.  I did the Mystic tan before my wedding a few years ago.  I loved it.  It did only last like 7 days, but I was dark and gorgeous on that day.  Just don't do it on the day of , and you are not gonna rub off on your dress. I have noticed those marks since losing too, yuck!

Thank you so much for your input. I think I will start tanning with that product and if it looks to be affecting the marks, then I'll just go ahead and do the Mystic tanning.

     Again, thanks so much!

    Starryeyedqt80:

I have minimal strecth marks on my breasts and I tan.  They don't look any worse for the wear.  Make sure when you do tan though, you use a lotion with bronzer, and something with anti-anging, wrinkle in it.  I use Golden Grace, it has that popular anti-age cream Strivectin in it.  Also I follow up my tanning with some Cocoa Butter, it is great for dry skin, as well as stretch marks.

How did you get your ticker to show up ?? :)
