    Support group in Pittsburgh

    Hi everyone,

My name is Ann and I live in Pittsburgh,PA.  I started taking Alli on Monday June 18th.  I haven't lost any weight yet but then I'm not supposed to weight myself til next thursday.  Anyhow I saw a post for support groups and thought that it might be a good idea.  Let me know if you are interested.  Good luck everyone!! We can do it this time!

I'd love to join this group. I'm in the South Hills (Brookline).  We could meet once a week or something.

I live in the North Hills. I have been on Alli for a month now and I have not weighed myself but I can tell you the inches I have lost are INCREDIBLE! My waist is loking better and my arms are looking thinner! I exercise 4 days a week for an hour and I am not floowing the meal plan but I am staying within my target fat and calories...Good Luck!!

    Re: Support group in Pittsburgh

Hi! I live in Shaler a northern suburb of Pittsburgh.  I started taking Alli on June 25th. I've hit a plateau. I tried doing things on my own instead of the Alli meal plans and haven't seen a loss this week. I'm going to go back to the Alli meal plan again.  I'm not discouraged though, I needed a break from green and red bell peppers anyway.  My check in is now on Saturdays. Good luck and speak with you soon?

I'm in a plateau, too.  I've been trying so hard this past month and it seems like my efforts are not paying off.  We should meet up sometime!

    Re: Support group in Pittsburgh

    Hi everyone,

I would be interested in the group.  I am 40 and live in Monroeville.  I started taking

Alli on 7/30.   Last week I had lost 2 lbs, this week after eating their recommeded foods for 2 days I couldnt stand myself and I gained 3 lbs.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Re: Support group in Pittsburgh

What a stressful couple of days! As you may know we here in Pittsburgh have had some terribly hot and severe weather.  The area where I live was hit very hard with a wind shear, we've been without power for hours/days and now finally it is getting back to normal. So needless to say it has been hard sticking to eating from the Alli plan for the week. With no electricity, wasn't able to cook, heat, or warm anything. Didn't want to open the refrigerator as we didn't know how long we were going to be without power. Luckily there is bread, water, wheat thins, and peanuts.  Had to throw some things away but I'm not complaining.  Many people are far worse off with property damage. On the positive side...I'm hoping next week will be better!  Hope the rest of you fared well, I check in tomorrow and will know how much I did/didn't lose.  Keeping postiive! :-)
