    Weigh In

I decided I couldn't wait any longer and got on the scale this morning, one day shy of my two week weigh in. I was shocked and disappointed that I gained four pounds of the initial seven lost. I never cheated and I worked out every day for 60 minutes on the treadmill at 4.0 with an incline of 2.0 (cal. burned registered at 431). I also used several of the circuit weight machines. I stayed under 2000 (1900/17 fat was the recc.) and took my Alli with every meal. The only time I ever lost serious weight was on the Atkins plan so I guess I have to go back to that if I ever want to lose more weight. I've kept the weight off and was hoping Alli would get me closer to my goal but it's not working for me. Good luck everyone.

    Re: Weigh In

    Please don't give up.

Just a suggestion..don't work out so hard. I know this sounds crazy, but... I work out 3xs a week wtih Russian Kettlebells at home and for 30 min each time. It is a quick and effective workout. I could never stand working out on a treadmill, not only is it really boring but it is also not that effective.. Combining weights and cardio together works a lot faster in transforming your body.

I have tried Atkins, It works... but in the end it fails you because its so hard to stick to it in the long term. I love Alli because I am not rushing.. taking my time and learning how to eat balanced healthy meals.

    Re: Weigh In

    Hi Aurora,

Your weight can vary up to 7 lbs in one day so you could drop weight tomorrow. There is absolutely no reason to give up based on one weigh-in. You have lost weight on this so you know that it does work. Just stick with your plan and keep your intake of white flour and sugar down.

This will work so don't give up,

    Betty Kovacs, MS, RD
