Congrats to you not only on week one, but the 3 yrs smoke free... that's awesome!!! :)
I've been gaining gradually over the past year and 1/2, but when I quit smoking the first of the year.... that's when I really starting noticing a big difference.... replacing cigs for food, when I felt the need to smoke....plus, it's amazing how much we eat once we realize how good food really does taste too!!
I lost 6 lbs my first week... I just started last Sunday. Like you, I too write EVERYTHING down and am very cautious of what I eat... I definitely don't want treatment effects... LOL
